Hope this helps for the top third floor apartment, where all my windows face west. I burn up in this Oklahoma heat. Today was 100*F. It’ll be even 🥵 hotter in July & August. 🥵

When you add the ice packs, do you add water first ,then put packs in? To be sure you don’t do over max line?

I wish the evaporative air cooler was a fraction as helpful but That’s just how it goes.
In a 3rd floor, top level apartment with every window I have facing the west (the direction of the Sun going down) there’s very little hope for me.
Everyday of summer, anywhere from 2-8 pm, I’m baking in this bitch.

Thank you for the video. I bought one in Spain and although it's a different "make" it's almost exactly the same as the one you demonstrate. So far so good. Although the noise is a slight problem (the water running through the machine) it's much better than 103 degrees!

It does work better than a fan, and you have to keep refilling cold water and ice pack. Its not as powerful as AC so the electricity shouldnt be as bad.
Omg I bought one of these for my lil studio apt and let me tell you! Those ice packets work! Add Cold Water and add Ice Cubes! The air is sooo cold! I have to get my blanket! Lol I love this! So worth the money!

You can take out the water tank holder to refill water.

Yep, it really is. Paid 79.99 our Bedroom is 15x14 really does cool the room down. Fan on high is really strong. And it does come out cool. In a room any bigger any bigger than day 15 x 15. Then the effect would go down.
@@northsidejeff9551 my wife needs it for her office in the house. It's a small room, her main concern is that it would need to be quiet. Now we have an AC in there but its way too noisy for the work that she does.
It's definitely not as loud as An Air Conditioner. But, this is an air cooler and not an air conditioner. So also, your not going to get it real cold either.
Mine leaks like crazy. It has to be filled every hour or so. Any idea what might be causing it or how to fix it? Thanks!
Sorry to hear that. Not sure maybe the tube or there is leak somewhere. Did you try to contact the brand or seller?
@@IsitWorthit1 Contacting the seller/manufacturer is pretty much impossible. At least I wasn't able to find a way to do so. Looking through other buyer's comments, it seems this is a common problem.
How long does it take for you to hear it coming on?
It should start working immediately but one thing to remember is that it isnt as strong as the AC built into your home.

I just got one. Should I take water pump out before adding water? Where is maximum line? Can anyone tell me where is it? How much water do you need to add?
There should be a max line inside the water tank holder.
So I have a storage room that gets super hot It’s my gaming room it has no windows u think this will cool my room
It will help a little but still using the built in AC in the house is better.
How can you clean the filter?
From what I remember you should be able to remove the cover from the back
do you water with the icebox or just the icebox by itself?
I put water in icebox and let it freeze in the freezer before putting into the tank with water. So that way it cools the water faster.

When I push the cool button it works for a few seconds and then beeps 10 times and turns off. The water doesn't go down. What should I do?
Not sure, maybe defect? I havent experience this yet. I would try to contact the brand or seller.

Not sure sorry but its like the same size as usual ,
This fan is ok if it’s not that hot out, where I live it’s 110 in the summer and this fan doesn’t help that much in that kind of heat, it’s mainly only for my daughter at night when she’s sleeping and it’s not as hot, if your wanting to cool a large area and it’s really hot, this isn’t gonna be for you.

You can use different one, I used this for quick test.
I have a great hack and you'll thank me later... purchase a dehumidifier set the timer to run for 4 hours before you wake up... then run your portable air conditioner.... it's like walking in a deep freezer

STUPID - IT'S A HUMIDIFIER, MAKES EVERYTHING MORE HUMID WHICH WON'T COOL DOWN THE HOUSE OR YOUR BODY.
