This may be shameful but I didn't even know Felix's name, so I looked up his songs and he's one of my favorite singers. I notice he sat in back at his keyboard. He didn't need to be up front. He was it and everyone knew it. Great great songs Felix.

The (Young) Rascals..my favorite American rock&roll band when I was growing up ! Felix grew up a few whistle stops from my home town.

    Thanks Joe
I'm writing this before video is over. It's fascinating and there's something about Felix that's like he's very clear in the way he talks and he just seems intelligent. Great questions for a great interview.

As a high school student the Young Rascals performed at Newburgh Free Academy, Newburgh, New York, What a show for a very young person to experience...thanks again Felix..

I love hearing his story of his time in music. Normally we just hear the songs, but the back story is fascinating. And Felix seems like a great guy, which doesn't hurt either.

I first saw the Young Rascals on Hullabaloo singing "I ain't gonna eat out my hear anymore" in their Buster Brown outfits. Man, I thought they were the greatest. By a stroke of luck I saw them perform at The Phone Booth in NYC....(my one and only trip to New York). I was thrilled to have my picture taken with Felix and Dino. I really enjoyed their early R&B songs and later their rock tunes but when they went off in a jazzy direction I didn't really understand what was going on.
So sad that they had to implode and didn't perform together for 40 or so years. I saw them in Anaheim in 1978 (minus Eddie). Great concert....scored me a pair of Dino's sticks. I wanted very much to see their Once Upon a Dream show but it fizzled out and I don't really know why. Can someone provide me some insight into that?

Jack The Skunk Once the show went out on the road, it was losing money and everyone had to take pay cuts. You can read about what happened in detail in Gene Cornish’s book, Good Lovin’.

@@anneraso5621 Thank you....I heard about Gene's book but got sidetracked and forgot to order it.... must do so now. :~)
