When you're an adult you have to act like one. I've been to the park with my kids and heard older kids cursing. All you have to do is go up to them politely explain to them there are kids around and try to tamp down the foul language. Teens respond when you talk to them not at them.

Actually no you are not. I never knew this but it is illegal to use foul language in public. I watched a woman in the mall being warned about a mall cop twice about using foul language and finally he was fed up with it and the police was called in and they arrested her. Something about children being present.

Natasha Fann A mall is private property and a mall security officer is a representative of the landlord. The mall has every right to have a policy against foul language and you must follow the rules or you can be kicked out. That's likely what happened in this situation. The security officer asked the person to leave because of their use of language. If they refuse to leave, they are now guilty of criminal trespassing. If the police did make an arrest, it was most likely for trespassing or disorderly conduct but not for simply swearing in front of children.
There are some towns throughout the country that have local ordinances prohibiting foul language in public but they are, at most, a small fine and probably would not hold up in a federal court if they were ever challenged (free speech).

I honestly don't see where she is harassing the pre teens or teenagers. We truly don't see both sides. As a parent myself I can no longer take my children to our local park because the skate park is right next to it. They shout out the ugliest things. Doing it on purpose when they r asked to stop using such ugly words. Plus the drug use is awful. It's so bad the city is actually thinking about tearing the skate park down. I use to skate as a teen so did my husband and we never acted like those guys did. We was respectful of others. People need to learn to have some darn respect! Specially toward their elders.
Well if it's illegal as you say call the cops. Simple. Second did she have any kids with her at a kids park? If not that's kinda creepy. Same if it was a anyone over a certain age going where it's made for kids. Third kids are going be kids. They are going cuss and say vile things. Fourth, the drug problem, if you see it report it immediately. Don't just see it and do nothing. That's worse than selling it at the park. And lastly don't blame the kids, get on the parents. They should be monitoring what their kids watch and act. The respect for their elders, that went out the window when the government gave the kids more power, than they should have. Most parents are afraid to discipline their children the way I was.

Mysticlegends photographing, or video recording in a public place is perfectly legal, what you do in public is owned by public, although I know in some states (new jersey just implemented this law recently) that photographing minors with out the consent of the parents is against the law... was basically put in place as a deterrent against weirdos filming kids at the beach and stuff.

i am the little girl that they where yelling at.that is my mom and they were dropping F bombs around 9 year olds as i was at the time. people brought scooters all the time. i don't think she should have yelled at them like that but they were at a skate park with a soccer practice with 6 year olds i think they should have been more respectful.
