I was thrilled recently, two times, one litter from parents who were both N/S produced 4 pups of which 3 were pied!!! (parti in yorkie world) then my other litter DD and Dd there was 3 who carried blue out of 4 pups, talk about one happy individual, my goal is to produce a pup who has dd bb and 2 copies of fluffy (long hair alleles) A lilac beauty! I’ve got the most beautiful tiny Yorkies perfect confirnation, one imported from Belarus, grandson of Vice World Champion Mini Shop Wow, thanks to you Mr James, you taught me everything I know, hee hee
Hi! Loving your videos! I am going to breed from my new pup in a few years, she is pied black and white but with some brown flecks (so I’m assuming brindle as there’s brindle in her lineage!) she also has blue and tan and brindle from parents (one parent pied). I want to avoid pied and brindle, I’m going to get her dna tested, she does have cream a few generations back, her siblings were blue fawn pied, sable, dark brindle and her. From watching your videos I’m assuming either cream, or Merle would be best to breed to? Would I get any pied at all from those couplings if I breed to a no pied gene male? And I’m assuming cream would be best for KC UK reg? I suppose also depending if she got 1 copy of blue from her dad she would also carry blue, so she could have blue merles or with a cream a mix of cream and blues? Thought I’d ask on here incase I’ve got it all wrong!
Hi! Thanks for making these videos! I've tried calling the other day, and I believe you tried calling back. We have two frenchies and would like to breed them, and we also would like to reach out to you to get more insight.
QUESTION to James Breeding medium-large breed dog first time with natural breeding (long planned breeding). It is her second heat. Her first heat was 2 weeks, so thats shorter than I am used to so far. *What is the earliest you have ever seen when dog is ready to be mated, James?* Ps. Progesteron test is out of equasion due to logistics and some other factors. But access to the male is easy. *When should I start letting them together? And once there is a tie, would you breed every day from then on until she lets?*
I have a 3 yr old fawn female. Her mom is a visual black brindle and her dad is a visual fawn piebald. My female has 1 copy piebald but no copies of brindle. Is this possible? My female is Em/Em , B/B, D/D, N/N, ay/ay, N/S and In/In just for reference.
From what I gather, yes, that’s possible. Her mom had to have only carried one copy of brindle. The mom passed on the non brindle gene and so did the dad.
I remember making these charts in high school but I have a question which jeans do you use to make the chart do you use which what is always labeled as a dominant gene to make the chart?

How do you get the fully suited English bulldogs? Can a Merle make fully suited?
from what I've watched if you mate 2 merles you can get deaf or blind pups so they say don't do them
So what would happen with lilac tan dam and lilac tan carrying cream and testable sire ???
What if the dog is blue fawn that carries tan points? ay/at dd
Would the sable show?
What about blue eyes in Siberian husky !
Sorry I just am not an expert with huskies I love them though
Really enjoyed this video.. Can you explain this dna
