Been to a perfume store a month ago for the first time in my life. Ended up buying "terre d'Hermès eau givrée" after testing all the perfumes in the shop (And they were many, had to take a break at some point to let my nose rest). Happy to see that I came to the same conclusion than Antonio.
Thank you Antonio for showing us international viewers some love.😊 We are going into our Spring and summer season. And South African summers can get really hot. Some great suggestions. Thank you for your informative videos.
Projection isn't necessarily the same as sillage. Sillage is the character in how the perfume wafts off the skin I. E. the scent trail. Some peefumes have bad projection but great sillage. Issey Miyake is one I wear daily and when my skin gets hot it leaves a nice scent trail but when I stop and smell where I spray it, it's hardly there. My fiancé said the girl at the salon wants the perfume I wear but I normally walk passed her in the morning with about six or eight feet of distance. Sillage is more important than projection. For me projection becomes the elephant in the room.
I feel like polo blue is slept on as a straightforward summer fragrance. It feels like a counterpart to Aqua Di Gio, a no frills fragrance that just smells good and works in the summer.
@@domenickmann9665 That's fair. The fact it can be found very reliably and very cheap is its biggest upper hand along with ADG. Because it seems like GREAT warm weather fragrances are always the ones no one ever makes enough of and they're sold out before July without fail.
Oh, it gets worse... I make my own experimental fragrances in the evenings, and wear the most successful trial the next day. 🤣 Essential oils, fragrance oils, molecules, carrier oils, high proof grain alcohol, 2 scales, a bunch of different types of bottles... I've invested about 300 bucks into this art/hobby, the possibilities are ENDLESS, and people at work have been asking if they can buy my fragrances. I write down the formulas, and I've got about 5 that are just great, consistent, and unique. So perhaps one day they'll pay for themselves! lol
For someone that lives in 95 to 104 degree temperatures you’re spot on with 95% of these frags. I would of thrown in a few Issey and blvgari flanks but other than that you nailed it!
Polo Sport, ADG, Light Blue and Issey Miyake will still smell good in 100 years. All absolute bangers. I would add Sauvage Elixir to that list too. One of my favorite new scents.
Wore my Cobalt today. Great warm weather blue scent. I wasn’t sure when I first got it, but I love it now. I am a fan of all the Bad Boy line, and this one is great for the summer for sure
Finally Profondo Lights getting some well deserved love! My favorite fragrance and also my only vacation fragrance. It’s so good that it’s the only fragrance out of my 140+ collection that I have 7backups of. Worth picking up if you can because it’s discontinued 😢
Good job 👏 I started collecting fragz and it's definitely a game changer. You displayed a lot of good fragrances and even left the door open for alternatives that would allow me to smell unique.
Great video as always🔥! Not that anyone would care , but in ADG profondo light segment, the picture used for patchouli is wrong . That’s actually vanilla. 😅😅 11:51
I love winter fragrances because of their strong sillage. They are usually darker and heavier. Now, if I wear a winter fragrance on a hot summer day, I feel nauseating. I guess the dark, strong scent radiates with 2x the strength due to the heat.
Bad boy cobalt is awesome. My buddy asked for my opinion when he stopped by a fragrance outlet and i said cobalt for sure. The original is ok, but the pepper and chocolate notes mixing together can be a lil too much sometimes. Cobalt’s fruity and truffle vibe works dope together imo
Thanks for the great video! I have been wearing Profondo for over a year and love it. It was close to Bleu, my previous favoirite, which changed the recipe a while ago so I chose Profondo. I went to buy a new bottle of Profondo yesterday and it seems they have changed the recipe too - it didn’t smell anything like my bottle at home, no citrus at all. Just completely different. I am now looking for an alternative blue/citrus summer scent. Cheers! PS in Spain, Loewe is pronounced ‘lo ebe’ - Lo as in ‘long’ (English accent) and then both the letters e in ‘ebe’ are pronounced like the e in ‘end’. The W is pronounced like a B. Loebe. ✌️
@@TheVoltarerXyz To be really honest, it smelled of soap. Someone who sells it told me they changed some of the ingredients because of EU regulations about animal products being used. I don’t know the batch number, sorry. Anyway, I found the perfect substitute in Loewe 7 Cobalt - it’s fantastic, even better than Bleau and Profondo to my nose. Lasts all day too. A terrific scent.
Low key some orientals actually work well for the summer. YSL's Opium pour homme is a banger in the heat. It really captures the essence of a nice floating market in Thailand. The ginger and black pepper are really nice in the heat. I love black pepper in a summer scent.
Versace man eau fraiche is a beast but my summer favorite is jean paul gaultier le beau le parfum that coconut is amazing and the projection is great 8 to 10 hrs and it's definitely a compliment getter

@@hurralishah7209 Honestly, most men do not wear fragrances on a daily basis, and the average man tend to only use it for very special ocassions. It is generally rare to smell it on a person, let alone have the same as yours at the time. The good thing about it being common, is that it is a mass-pleasing scent, and unlikely to be offensive to anyone. Cool Water is not a bad choice, as a starter summer fragrance on a budget. Best to test in store, before buying though. Sometimes, when you smell something that you really like, then it's worth reasonably spending a little bit more (delay purchase and save up) for a fragrance that gives you way more satisfaction. You are spending money to create a pleasant experience, that stimulates you and elevates your mood.
Then which one gives me compliments I bought me cool water intense I bought Polo deep blue also I bought Polo blue also which one last longer e a u de parfum or parfum. I need advice and answer.

Honestly, most men do not wear fragrances on a daily basis, and the average man tend to only use it for very special ocassions.
Try Dior Homme cologne. It’s the best fresh you can start off with you won’t be disappointed. I always get compliments
