For someone looking to get a 7 or an 8; how I see it is that the 7 should have never existed. People that are considering the 7 instead of the 8 are not thinking. The 7 is barely faster than the 6s. The 8 has nearly double the performance and costs barely any more. (I said this even before watching the video).

The iPhone 6s definitely. With the 6s you can do one thing you can't do with the iPhone 7. That is charging and listening to music at the same time without an adapter.

There things called adapters that split the jack and the lightning port. Better yet, go wireless and use bluetooth. :)
If you cant leave your phone to charge for a bit without using it you might have a problem.
When I saw iPhone 7 has no headphone jack I was like, okay cool! In my 20 years I never was on a phone, charging it and thought to my self, hey lets listen to music while charging while doing other things to degrade battery life as phones should not usually be used when charging. Making a big deal out of nothing, lol.
7 has a much better chipset, meaning it'll last longer.

If you want a new phone, you should look into buying an iPhone 4, the iPhone 4 is really old and slow so you’re going to want the iPhone 5! If you’re going ahead and buying an iPhone 5 you should look into an iPhone 6 since it’s only that much more expensive. You’re not going to want the iPhone 6 though since it had a lot of issues that Apple fixed with the 6s and the 6s plus. So you should get that. Don’t get the plus model though because it’s not really better then the regular 6s. If you’re looking for a plus model you should get an iPhone 7 Plus the only thing is though you’re going to lose you’re headphone jack so you’re prob better of with the 6s plus. What id do though Is get the 8 plus with AirPods. But That’s really expensive so you might as well buy the 6s plus since it’s great value for money on eBay.com If you want a new budget phone though get an iPhone 7 since it’s like 400 usd through Apple. But you should totally get the iPhone 6s, it’s the best.

It's more that phone prices decrease logarithmically over time rather than linearly. Basically at a certain point buying 1 year newer will yield much better quality at only a slightly higher price. I think the sweet spot for iPhones is 2 years old, since you're still going to get 2-3 years of software updates from Apple and the 7 is a large step up from the 6s overall. Android is probably last years if you want newer versions, since if you go for a 2 year old phone you're not gonna get anymore android version updates.

I'm quite happy with the 16gb iPhone SE that I got for £50 (around $65 USD). It's amazing how much rubbish accumulates on phones (and then people wonder why they get slow). I've got a couple of games (first two seasons of Telltale's The Walking Dead), my most listened to music, my regularly used apps, and still have over 1.5gb of space left over. Plus it is a really nice phone as well, even if Siri is dumber than a bag of spanners.

The only problem I have with my SE is that the battery isn't that good. I mean, I was kinda enjoying it when it was brand new about 10 months ago, but I'd have to end up charging it mid-day because the battery goes dead around 3 or 4 PM with little usage. But other than that, I really am enjoying the phone! Oh, mine is the 32 GB. I've had the phone for less than a year (10 months), and it's already starting to shut down between 5 and 10%, and it keeps having to turn on performance management to limit the processing power that the phone can use because of the battery and the phone shutting down too soon. If you can find one for a decent price around 100-150 USD that is in pretty good condition, I'd say go for it, but you might want to keep a charging cable handy.
I’ve had the 6s Plus for a couple years, and I absolutely still love it! The 12 IOS update continues to make it even more enjoyable! Bought it from eBay for around $300. All these gimmicks don’t entice me to upgrade. Some put too much cost value into these devices. We’re living in a time whereas some folks are checking their food stamp balance, on a $1,000 phone. My stock position into Apple, far outweighs my purchase of the company’s devices. Fortunately, I’ve never been one to struggle at keeping pace with the masses.
the best phones are the 6 and 7 tbh.. theyre not overpriced and aren't fully covered in glass. the only reason I prefer the 7 over the 6 is because of the updated stuff. better chip, y'know.
I would say the 6S is still good especially if you don't play a lot of heavy games!
And in 2022 I'd definitely want a 6S on IOS 12.5.5 NOT IOS 15 because of the lack of Peek and pop which was removed on IOS 14.
I have used both and updated both to iOS 12 and the iPhone 7 beats the 6s in every category besides a dedicated audio output. It's water resistant, the finger print scanner is faster, the camera is better. I am a pubg player and after playing on both phones you can tell that you are getting better frame rates and better color resolution on the iPhone 7.
oh and forgot to mention that the 7 will receive updates longer then the 6s

Until a week ago I used the 6s. One of my favorite phones ever. (I got the xr as an early birthday present. Great phone as well.)
So, me and my friend did something for fun, he has a 6S, and I have a 7, and we both upgraded to ios 13.1 (this was when it came out), to see which phone runs apps smoother, and the iPhone 7 ran apps crazy faster and smooter.

I find the fact that I have to charge Bluetooth headphones less convenient then the fact that I have to use wires. Obviously this is personal preference, but it does give Bluetooth headphones a theoretically shorter lifespan due to battery degradation, though this is assuming you don't break the cord

@@ilikeboost4764 depends what kind of headphones you use. If you use over ear headphones you often have a replaceable cord. It's way cheaper to buy a new cord than buy new headphones cause the battery died.

I think it's pretty fair to say that getting the 8 over the 7 is a good call if you're buying new.
That said, the 7 does have a few things going for it over the 6S. The camera is actually significantly better. The difference isn't very noticeable in perfect lighting, as shown in the video, but the combination of OIS and a significantly wider f/1.8 aperture (I believe the 6S has a f/2.2 aperture) help the 7 perform significantly better in lower light. Even decently well-lit indoor photos look a lot better on the 7, because it doesn't have to crank the ISO as much as the 6S does. It also focuses faster and more reliably in non-ideal lighting. The front-facing camera is also 7 megapixels, over the 5 megapixels in the 6S.
It can't be overstated how much better the speakers are as well. Not everyone will care, but if you like putting on a podcast at home while doing dishes or something, the 7 makes that possible, while the 6S just isn't loud enough. Stereo is also a nice improvement.
I'd say these things, in addition to the upgraded haptics, and the loss of the headphone jack would be the most noticeable day to day.

Actually not totally regretting now, cause it’s really better in many ways. A10 is a really good SoC. Also 6S’s camera is not really good or something. The 7’s camera actually will be usable for many years to come.

im really sorry to say but in my opinion this review seems a bit biased as you favour the iphone 7 but cover up the fact by also saying 1 or 2 good things about the 6s. in my opinion the 6s is a much better option than the 7 as the haptic feedback on the home button can really stress ppl out. The main difference to me is camera and the feel of the phone. bearing in mind im only in year 8 and if u walk out of school with an iphone 7 there is a chance you will get mugged compared to an "old" iphone 6s. but anyway its up to you!!
I have the 6s in space grey I LOVE it!🥰❤️ The only problem is that I use my phone a lot, so my battery dies in just about 3 hours straight. That’s the only thing I gotta say something about.

@@edenlevi9877 umm, I've used both, the display isn't that much different. The camera isn't that far ahead. The only benefit is that it has OIS. Both record in the same quality and have the same megapixel count.

Multiple prepaid carriers offer the 6S for $299 brand new for a 32gb.
The SE is a 4” version which can be purchased for $69.99 refurbished and $129.00 new.However none of these are purchaseable as unlocked as where the 7 can be for $449 new At Apple.
But how different are they in everday use?
Well for starters the 7 shoots slightly better video and pictures are a bit nicer especially in lower lit environments.
The battery life is slightly better on the 7.The 7 is about 18-22% more powerful on benchmark tests but the difference is not noticeable in real life both feel the same when using them as long as both have a strong battery.
The 7 has one serious hardware flaw and for me this is a game changer.
The iPhone 7 home button cannot be replaced once gone it’s done and can’t be brought back as is not the case with the 6S.A 6S home button can be replaced and costs around $4-7.
The 6S is a all around better bang for your buck as it’s often $200 used for a 64-128gb in perfect condition unlocked l.

I upgraded to about three years ago, from a 5S to a 7. I thought that the lack of a headphone jack would have a huge effect, but it really didn’t. It still works great, and I’m not ready to upgrade just yet
I upgraded from a 4s to a 5s when the 5s came out then when the 7 came out I got a 7 and I really don't care about the lack of the headphone jack I use the lightning to headphone jack adapter to use my regular headphones but if I need to I'll use the lightning earpods which I think sound pretty decent not going to upgrade yet and when I do I'll probably get the 11 pro to save a bit of money and I'll probably get airpods too but as of now I'll just stick with my 7

Emil Kirma it actually won't be "way faster". Both the 6s and 7 have almost the same graphics processor (PowerVR GT 7600 series graphics). The only thing is the 7 has the Plus version which is more efficient.
QuilTech 6s is still a great phone and i think its held up well. But in general heavy things will be alot faster in general. Either way the 6s is one if my favourite phones😊

Still have my iPhone 5S with iOS 12. Wanna upgrade to the iPhone 6S, because it has a headphone jack instead of the iPhone 7 which only has wireless and Lightning. Until I have my iPhone 6S, I'm doing fine with the 5S. It really runs well on iOS 12!!!

I got my 6s used online after switching from some droid and I’m absolutely happy with it I had it for almost a year and no problems it’s amazing that iPhones from almost 6 years ago are still being supported
i want to buy i phone 7
2020 here and I still have the 6s but am giving it to my daughter today for game playing and I’m waiting on delivery of my iPhone 7.
