Thank you for the very comprehensive review of the BD adjustable basement showing the pros and cons as well as comparing it to the Exile truck. Keep up the great skate related videos.
Tks for the detail review. Is there an increase in speed generation or ease of pumping when you reversed the boardnamics truck at the rear when it is set at 0 deg or 15 deg?
I'm wondering what could be an affordable upgrade for g-bomb DD brackets and a tracker rt-s if it's all about surfier pumps. What would come to mind for you?
Cool. Love this. Thinking about getting one. I thought it might be good for my downhill setup too. The concern there would be slop between baseplate and the pivot. Is there any slop there?
did you try with a Paris hanger? my friend told me caliber hanger fits better but it's too wide. boardnamics just restock their 145mm hanger, it should be a perfect fit.
Thanks, this is great! Since the Bennett has its flaws, what about this as a budget front truck for LDP at 60* (which could work without wedging)? And in that regard, was there any play between the parts?
@@ldptaiwan Really? That's disappointing. Still a very intersting option for the back. Did you end up trying out 15* without any extra part? That's my plan.
Hi, I have a Trip with Paris v3. So can I just buy this baseplate to improve the pumping? Any other parts needed? New to LDP and your content is so valuable. Thank you!
Would it not work then to set it at 0, inverted on a gbomb SDF fork, for a 15 degree total rear end? Any chance of using asymmetrical risers on the SDF to fine-tune the angle, or would that angle-adjustment bolt get in the way?
@@ldptaiwan you said in the video the kingpin is "grade 8 with long threads". Grade-8 has better shear strength than an aircraft bolt. Good video about this baseplate :)
Well, FB Group for LDP is full of broken KP reports. So, this product might be OK for light riders, but I'm on the opposite site. So this one is not the product I would pay for.

very good review for a very niche product, some people will find this really useful!

It’s pretty tight, I’m happy with the build quality
🤙🏼 *Awesome* 🤙🏼
Great info!
It's too bad those threads go down so far on that kingpin. good call on using epoxy to fill the threads. I never thought of that.
Nice review dude!
Thanks you. tried, great product.

@@ldptaiwan there was a problem with the Paris hanger? It looks like it worked fine. Btw, what yellow bushings are those? Riptide APS barrel 90a?
Great video

It’s too high at 60 degree. Randal, Paris, bear with some wedging will be better for a budget front

Yes you can do that but I don't know how that fork nose (tail?) will hold up, but I know someone had a similar setup before.

If you want to fine-tune the angle, i think DDR is you best shot
Thank you for this. How come you wear a Schalke 04 jersey?
Schalker since 2017!
Have you tried 15 degree on the Pantheon trip too and would that work? Great informative work thumbs up! :-)
it won't work, massive wheel bite
why would you replace a Grade-8 bolt with an AN6 kingpin, the Grade-8 is stronger! In fact you say later in the video nobody has broken them, right?
It came with an AN6, I didn’t replace it

Bennet can be used with this baseplate?
No, this is only for RKP hanger

Broken kingpins were mostly from front truck with spherical in the hanger
@@ldptaiwan After your video with Bennett blind test, it is spherical or nothing for me! :)
Why are Randal shitty trucks for the back, apart from the fact that they're somewhat basic?
Their built quality is just poor
