I love when people actually care for their cat and don’t just get them since they’re cute and they want a pet. They are much more than just a ‘pet’ and more of a family when you get to know them
Yeah I agree ! I work in a pet shop and it’s sad to see that so many people treat their cats like an inconvenience 😣 they want to spend as little money as possible and hardly provide them with bare minimum rather than spoiling them & giving them the best quality of life possible.
Yes Bella is very cute but I enjoy caring for her. It’s become a hobby 😂 I’m always researching to learn more , treating her to new things etc 💕

Aww thank you so much for watching! I’m glad my cat food videos have been really useful for you. These were the kinda videos I wish I had seen when I first got Bella. Unfortunately there’s not too many out there especially UK versions ! There’s so many types of cat foods out there it’s a little overwhelming to work out what’s good & whats not. Yep ! She’s so big and fluffy 😂 she’s pretty heavy too ! Shes got about another year or two of growing to do. Ragdolls are big cats ☺️🐈💕
What are your thoughts on the brand Royal Canin? A couple of registered breeders have said they use this brand, but I've noticed you've never mentioned it.
We sell alot of it at work but the ingredients don’t look very good. The first ingredient is meat & animal derivatives. Which are by - Products of an animal. It’s basically the carcass that remain once the 'good bits' of that animal have been removed. I don’t feed any wet or dry food unless the first ingredient is something like eg 80% chicken or a specified meat. Then I check to see what the other ingredients are and if it’s words you can’t understand it’s mostly just added crap like sugars and unnecessary amounts of grain that helps to bulk out the product.
For example the dry food I feed is made with deboned chicken as the first ingredient & it’s grain free plus it’s cheaper & much better quality then royal canin.
I personally wouldn’t feed royal canin it’s overpriced too. All the food I feed is much cheaper than the royal canin wet & dry food & much better quality.
I always check the labels it’s honestly so bad that so many companies can call something chicken when it has as little as just 4% in it 🫣 all the cheap foods are made with animal carcasses & royal canine ingredients list doesn’t look much different 😕 it doesn’t even specify what meat is even being used 😅
Royal Canin Sensory Smell in Gravy:
Meat and animal by-products, fish and fish by-products, grains, vegetable protein-extracts, minerals, vegetable by-products, yeast.
Untamed choka chicken with gravy:
Composition: Chicken breast 58%, Chicken broth 33%, Chicken liver 5%, Sunflower oil, Tapioca 1%, Vitamins and Minerals.

Love when you do this! Have you been able to teach Bella tricks or train her?
She doesn’t know any tricks yet but she does know a few words / actions. She knows her name , the word “biscuits” or her absolute favourite is “treat”. If you ask her if she wants a treat she responds and walks over to the treat drawer. She understands come here , off , out , No etc so she’s very clever & picks up on things fast. I definitely need to get into training her to do tricks that would be a huge challenge 😂💕
How often do you give Bella treats ? 💕

Hey ! I’m so pleased to hear you’re enjoying my content ☺️ I found Bella on preloved. Her mum primrose only had 3 kittens. Two boys and one girl. I saw mum and dad who looked absolutely beautiful and they were one of the colours I was after. You need to go by what mum & dad look like because Ragdoll kittens don’t have much colour on them because they are born pure white. Mostly apart from the ears and tails. So it takes about a year or so till you see exactly what colour they will become.
Ragdolls are generally really laid back and often rather clingy they have a habit of following you everywhere and waiting outside doors for you. They are very good at getting into a routine so they know when you’re due to feed them and if you head out to work they know what time you will get back and sit at the door to welcome you home. Bella has done it everyday apart from once when she was in a deep sleep in my room ☺️
It wasn’t hard to pick Bella because I knew what colour Ragdoll I wanted and that I wanted a female. She would send me pictures & videos of her. She was very helpful when i was asking her questions about what they were eating etc so I could get everything ready. She sent Bella home with a little teddy which she still has. Bella was a bit older when I got her she was 3 months old some kittens are much younger when they go home but she was litter trained etc. She was the only female in that litter so it wasn’t hard to pick her. She also was too far away from me either maybe an hour or more.
One of the boys sold but the other one didn’t so she decided to keep him 💕
@@malicahamilton Thank you for all your help! The detail is going to help me a lot when I make my decision on which kitten (Btw, I'm in the US)!! I also want a female kitten too! What age was Bella when you brought her home? Some of the kittens I see online are only 2 months old. While others are 14 weeks or older. I am worried that if I bring 1 kitten home, that she might develop some sort of anxiety or unhappiness by being left alone if I'm gone (I also live alone too). Being that ragdolls are more laid back/docile, did you experience her waking you up much at night, or crying/being anxious if you left her to work, etc., especially as a single kitten? Sorry for the long text! I think I'm just worried about the kitty's mental wellbeing and possibly getting separation anxiety or behavioral problems if I'm getting her at a young age. Either way I am looking forward to soon bring my own baby home 💕
I have a random question. Im getting 1 ragdoll kitten in october, I live in germany and here most people say that you must get 2 kittens because they cant be happy alone long term. How do you feel about it? Because you take such good care of bella and she doesnt seem lonely or anything
Hey ! Some people say you have to get two ragdolls however I think it’s possible to have just the one maybe not long term but I see nothing wrong with getting a singular cat & in the future introducing another. Bella has things around the house to keep her occupied and I’m always buying her new toys and i swap them out to keep her entertained. She’s in a routine so she knows that I go to work and that I’m back at the same time each day and she waits for me at the door when it’s nearing that time. I spend almost every evening and weekend at home with Bella so I keep her company and when I can. Depending on my mums work hours sometimes she’s home during the day when I’m at work. I feed Bella breakfast at 6 and dinner at 6 every day and she knows that. If I won’t be home at 6 for whatever reason I get my mum to feed her. Bella seems to be very happy and content but she might feel a little lonely at times when I’m not with her but I do spend as much time as I can keeping her company. My boyfriend doesn’t actually have a Ragdoll so if we were to eventually move in together Bella would have a friend. Ragdolls do get on with dogs too so maybe in the future I might have a dog also but for now Bella does alright on her own 💕
@@malicahamilton Thank you! I will get the kitten by itself then. I also read that ragdolls adapt very well to new situations which seems perfect. I work from home so mine would have me around 95% of the time! Also is bella very cuddly? Online it says that ragdolls act like dogs when it comes to following owners around the house and sleeping near you. Im just wondering how it would be (:
@papasarah9446 Yes Bella adapted very well ! When we were on our way home with her she looked very content and comfortable she didn’t make a sound. Once we got home she stepped out the carrier and just plopped herself on the floor as if she had been here before. She settled in instantly which was nice.
Bella is very clingy if you go toilet or have a shower she will come in with you or most of the time when you open the door she’s there waiting for you. They love to be in the same room as you and would often follow you around while you do your chores often trying to climb into every cupboard you open. If Bella can’t find me she will meow and I have to call her and she will come running.
She’s not a cuddly cat at all. She will let me pick her up but she’s never sat on my lap. She never lays right next to me it’s rare if she does. She likes to be close to you mostly in the same room but she likes her space. The last few months she tends to sleep on the end of my bed it’s really cute.
Ragdolls make such wonderful cats just be aware that they can have a heart condition called HMC, you also need to be mindful of their joints because they are heavy stocky cats & you will have cat hair on absolutely everything and it never goes away! No matter how much you brush them you will have fur everywhere 🙂

Love your videos as someone who owns 2 ragdolls its lovely to see. I did want to ask though, how do you manage to feed her so many different brands without upsetting her tummy? Is there anything you do specifically? Id love to switch it up with flavours as untamed is super limited but scared about the consequences 💩😂

As a kitten Bella used to get diarrhoea if she had the untamed chicken. I think because it was so rich. Once she got older she was fine with it. The brands she gets the most are untamed , Applaws & natures variety. The others I just pick up occasionally to give her something a bit different. If I feed her the same thing for a long time she gets so bored of it and won’t eat it. Also one reason why I like to give her a variety is because so many pet foods are complementary! She really likes 3 of the Applaws flavours but they are all complementary which means you can’t really feed them on that alone. Untamed only offers 5 complete flavours and they are all similar then natures variety only offer two flavours!
Her poops are fine so she seems to be able to handle eating a few different foods on rotation however some cats are more sensitive than others and it might not work for all.
Bella got sick of untamed so fast Because the flavours are so limited. She goes through phases where she doesn’t like the fish , then it’s the chicken, then it’s something in jelly. Eventually months later if you give it to her sometimes she will actually eat it 😂
As I work in a pet shop I see most cat owners pick up a selection of different brands when shopping for their cat just as I do for Bella. You have the odd person who buys the same box of cat food all the time as their cat won’t eat anything else or if they eat something different it gives them diarrhoea. However it seems like most cats love a mixture of different foods.
If you wanted to transaction or introduce a new food just mix it in with the old food to reduce upsetting their stomachs & them turning their noses up at it. If we get a new tin of food at work I might bring home one to try Bella on it . She might eat it or turn her nose up. If she does eat it her poop is normal.
She might have the odd bit of small runny poop once in a while even if she’s not had anything new but it’s not very common.
Lastly I will eventually film a “what Bella eats in a day” & a “what Bella eats in the week” video so people have a better idea of how I feed her day to day. 💕
