Sneak peek!! Wood Nymph prototype

Last year I gave Tops knives a wooden knife that I was interested in bringing to life. Leo and Craig were as excited as I was and the Wood Nymph was born. I wanted a small utility/sloyd blade that could be worn around the neck or in a small danger sheath on the belt.
1/8" modified scandi gets it done. lots of testing is underway and it will be a while before they are released. Be sure to subscribe to watch the testing but also give your opinion on the blade. Everyone's personal preferences are different but I'd like to see the feedback.
This will be the first Bushcraft kelso design made by Tops knives. Hopefully the first of many.

Love the design, and it just made its way to the number one spot on my wanted list 😉.
I agree on the Phillips screws. As much as some people hate the Phillips screws on the Tanimboca Puukko, I love them, exactly because I always have a Phillips head screwdriver on me, be it on my multitool or Victorinox/Wenger Swiss Army Knife.
Anyway, great design, will be getting one as soon as they become available in Europe.

I like it a lot. It's kinda like a bit more general purpose Sloyd type carving blade, but with a less bulky handle that is easier to carry. I could see edc-ing this knife, either pocket carry with an ulticlip or on a belt. It might work well with a leather sheath set up the way Matt Graham's Bush Mondo knife rides behind a belt and has a little tab that holds it in place.

This would be awesome in a natural canvas micarta or burlap micarta. I will buy one as soon as they are available regardless of handle material. Been wanting a knife in this form factor for a while.

I m going to buy this knife. I love this size/style. Arkansas Ozarks.. a machete and one of these... does I for me. I carry few other things usually. But if going by myself.. just the tramontina and Condor Woodwise.
Tops 1095 holds better edge Vs co dor 1075. Wish they d did it in Sandvik or their 1095... this small don't have to be carbon steel tuff.. but.. any ways.. thanks for the design Kelso!!! And the video!! Sorry about the condor comment;)

I have the woodwise from Condor. I love it!! But this is more. Its simply better! Bolt on micarta and a more usuable sheath!! Tops 1095 CAN hold an edge better than condors1075. Not always. But hopefully!
