Thank you for this video I am going to place an order for the rocker cover complete set next pay week, thank you for saving us a bunch of money .. love from Melbourne
Hate the fact my partner owns a Cruze, love the fact you have these kits and tutorials putting my order in on pay. These things are beyond rubbish, think it's going to be binned soon it's getting the flaring gear problem lately.
I've already subbed to your channel I didn't even know I had... Great video. I like it's straight to the business the task at hand. I hate the long drawn out ones... I work on my own cars fix them myself.. google is a great thing. And it brings you to videos like yours..
I am a gal who replaced her coolant radiator tank and spark plugs. Didn't realise the 2 last screws that go into the coil pack are to be toqued to spec. The spark plugs were tightened by hand and then another quarter with wrench. Would these 2 last screws be the same? Loving the video, straight to the point. Gives me hope when I do my Holden Cruze
If you take your cap off and it’s sucking air aswell as the dipstick would this be the rocker cover ? One spark plug hole has oil engine light has just come on but car is running fine scanned it and it’s says running lean post cat
Nice vid! I can't seem to find anyone doing this on a 2L diesel and I've been quoted over 800 because they need to remove the inlet manifold? They said it's a 4-5 hour job sigh., not sure who to trust. Got a slight oil leak atm, nothing major
@@thepartsfactory4239 I am confused, on the website you have two different kits for this one and a different one for the Barina but this one is in stock and the one for the Barina is out of stoke ? :) hope you are having a nice day
Hey guys, I bought your rocket cover for the 1.4 ltr engine 2011 holden cruze, I just installed it over the weekend, and now the new rocket cover is making a very loud sort of whistling sound. I watched other videos and it said i would need to replace it if it does that. Is this true? Was i sent a faulty rocket cover? Or is there something i haven't potentially done right?
@RemSiman Have you used any type of sealent or something like that to seal the edges Or just did it like it without sealing it Just asking because I am going to change it today on my car and just wanted to make sure If you can reply that would be really helpful Thanks
Need your opinion ASAP if can mate, I took my golden cruse to get rocket cover replacement and he charged me 440$ for the rocket cover itself brand new he reckons ?? What should I do
I did exactly the same thing on my Barina I loosened all the E screws and the the rocker cover was so stuck it did not even budge, you must have pre- loosened it because there is no way it would have popped up that easily.
Depends on the amount of gasket glue. Use a flat head on a corner of your choice and get it to split. Double check all E screws are out before doing this

I might look into this tommorow. Mean time email me a photo of the top of your engine and I will give you my option. Partsfactoryaustralia@gmail.com
This is fantastic, does this fit Barina F16D4 engine as well?
Yes it does.

The rocker cover bolts are E10 E torx.Not e12.
mine is 2013 sri-v and engine light on with the code p0171 , so do you think its just valve rocker cover?
Best you have it professionally diagnosed. Thanks

I paid bloody $750 for replacing rocker cover. I wish I could have done research earlier and do it myself.
They ripped you off.. we got quoted $250 for the same thing
Wish I saw this video before. Just paid $330 and it was only the seal that was replaced.
