Shawty u wanna know why a mf can’t get out of this shxt… They don’t want to get out of it. These youngins not lookin to get out or even get a bag. All these youngins want is clout and a name and that’s why half these beefs are even happening. These youngins don’t rap to get out they rap for clout on some beef shxt. Why u think all the music is about spinnin blocks.
Unfortunately these young men who would have been employable in many industries do not have those opportunities in dc due to not only gentrification but immigration. Gratification is taking their white collar jobs and immigrants take the service and blue collar work. Kids can’t even get jobs at local restaurants bc adults from other countries took them.

To answer the interviewers question, No, all public housing is not projects. NE has a lot of public housing that’s subsidized but not considered the projects… Edgewood, Brentwood, Franklin Commons… are considered PH and not projects. Aquatic Gardens, paradise, Lincoln heights are projects (I think). But, in the 70-90 PH got ran down and it all looked like projects, thus the fake renovations. Montana Ave was considered the projects. But, they may have switched programs at dcha after its very expensive renovations. Also, I don’t think dcha restored any of the projects… just the subsidized housing units.
@@CITYOFSHOOTERS dcha has many housing programs, and ph can be privately owned. It makes sense that the apartment complex is privately owned, since most projects have been sold to private developers. However, those developers are still paid by dcha or HUD (If contract is federal) to maintain that complex subsidized units. They can even been considered contractors or subsidiaries. HUD only switched the format regarding how they manage ph bc state housing failed nationally and liability damages became expensive. I’m not sure if you recall the Aquatic Gardens law suits or Tyler house, but HUD had agencies in every state being sued. Resulting with… either make someone else responsible or close the projects. But, it’s still ph boo.
@@CITYOFSHOOTERS also, any unit receiving public funding is considered public housing. It can be a section 8 voucher holder renting a private house. That house is considered PH, as long as section 8 pays the rent.

That’s not public housing , public housing is owned by the government not private owners like Brentwood or parkland ,
