Your smile says it all and that sound when it started. I’m a third generation biker and there is nothing beats the sound of the first bike you remember. Mine was the front of a Norton with a guy called Nigel when I was six. I remember my Mum saying to my Dad he’s not going with him, which is why I ended up on the front. Safety first.Lol. On that note Ride Safely.
Nice. I like tatty but mechanically sound. The only unusual point on the bike is the fwd angled motor in the frame. If the motor is a 57, so post 54 big brg c/cases it will take a 650 or 750 top end. Otherwise unless you are class or bracket racing, there is no point running an iron 500 head.
It's a great looking bike line wise. Just dont get why he isn't keeping it up. I'm not saying it has to be concourse level but really looks like he doesnt care for it. There's vintage and then there's abused. This one looks the ladder.
FunWithAJ I've got old pre war bikes in similar condition. I keep them in top mechanical condition which this bike appears to be. If the cosmetics look poor it really doesn't matter, it's all about how it goes!
@@buncho888 I have no hate against the patina of the gas tank. I actually quite like it. My concern is more with the pipes/headers looking rotted as well as the engine components looking tosses. If you read my original reply my issue is not with the patina aspect but more the engine condition. Heck he had to push start it and one of the cylinders wasnt working. The engine looks to have seriously issues. I'd have more respect for the build of it were like your bikes tip top mechanical shape.

Very nice. Thanks for keeping her alive!
Very nice authentic Triton . Keep it in good technical condition. Optic has to be that way after those years.
What a bike, love these survivors

This tank looks amazing it would be nice to have fibreglass shell from it. Whole bike looks solid even for today standards, or way better i suppose...
