Hello I am French, i started trial in 1986, i was 12 years old and these are motorbikes i knew.... I have riden some of them : Fantic 300, Yamaha 250 Ty... I also meet some french pilot of this video : Fred Michaud is still practising trial with some friends of the club i was, last autumn i spoke with Gilles Burgat for the first time (very sympatic) and i also met Thierry Michaud for the first time.....
Lovely video. I rode the SSDT in 1980 and 1982. At 71 I am still off roading in the Philippines where I have lived for the past 15 years. Sad that some of the brands of machines no longer exist. I rode a 160cc Fantic in 81. It was a great bike.
Great video loved seeing names of well known riders and the bikes I was the second owner of a SWM a bit of a handful to ride in tight sections I still think the lighter bikes were best I rode shared ride a TY 175 having ridden TY250s and that was so agile
Lovely. I rode the SSDT in 80 and 81. Don't ask where I finished in the order. I haven't found any vids yet from that year. I still have a 1974 Bultaco MX bike here in the Philippines where I now live.

I like the trial scene of this era.
