SARGO 36 Breaking ice!!

No worries in general, if you go slow, although the bottom paint will eventually tear off if you regularly cruise in ice! ;)

​@@inamarinab1554 Good information. Also seen ferries with steel hull that lost their paint in the bow, due to ice breaking.
