Great tips, didnt know them all. I've got one to give you as a thank you. It's a buddy tip. If you are with a buddy and have to eat, feed each other...it will make no munching noise.
I would love to know which ones you did not know if thats not to much to ask. And yes you are right their is no sound for feeding someone, never really thought about that it could be used when playing with someone. 👍
I have a good tip for pvp if you are in a bulding. Make lots of steps in one part of the building, take your shoes off and walk slowly to another part of the building. They wont hear the footsteps so they think you are somewhere else
@@JustinLT212 no this wastes way to much time and by the time you get this done the person will most likely already infiltrated the house and they can just check each room so bamboozleing wouldn’t work
@@_jrued dont knock it till you try it bro. Took on a 5 man alone this way and won, but it is very situational and kinda requires you to be in a standoff
When doing any animation, like drinking at a well, eating, repairing stuff, performing and action on a player or object, right clicking to raise your hands into melee mode instantly cancels the animation. How many times have you been killed by some guy punching you while drinking at a well? Always swap out your shoes every time you have the opportunity to. That way you never run out of durability on them. Don't use the stone knife as a melee weapon. It does less shock damage than your fists and you will ruin it too quickly. Punching kills Zombies faster, although with more hits than a hatched or axe. If you fail to one hit them with your melee weapon, swap to your fists to safe durability on it.
You can also shoot through various walls, ceilings, and floors, too. Nobody ever expects a high powered rifle round through the wall or floor. I'll also love when we get the bow and arrows back (possibly this Christmas), which were fantastic for killing campers on the second floor of the camo building. You'd stand a ways back, line up your shot, and start arcing arrows through the window, killing the camper waiting for people to come up the stairs. Used to be you could shoot arrows into dirt roads at about a 45 degree angle, and they'd pop the tires as the vehicle drives over.
Ye im hoping for the bows to come back for christmast aswell! I could have made this video an hour long but instead i tried to share imo the best ones. If i would have put wallbang in there it gets complicated cuz its different on material and caliber and so on.
Also a usefull tip: When holding a magazine in your hands, just hold down R do reload it. So many people drag and drop their ammo onto the magazine and it costs so much time.
*Pro tip:* If you want to drink from a canteen or a soda can, crouch at the moment your character starts de animation to drink it (The opening of the soda, canteen or bottle), its faster because you skip the animation and its not loud.
@@hocken123 100% sure, but its not like... Faster, I said "faster" cuz it skips the animation of the character opening the can/bottle, but it doesn't with magazines
Knew most of the tips, now something more about survival: If you find a water bottle, don't spill the water right away, only near the water pump. If you don't get a chance to safely approach one, you'll have maybe not safe water, but water and you'll get several more minutes to do something.
I was thinking the same thing about bad food or uncooked food for early survivor. Hanging on to it and maybe eating it and getting sick, is better than being dead from starvation.
Good video man! I've got over 4K hours in DayZ and never thought about the silent gun switch! haha so I learned something :) this video a must for new players to get a few more advanced tips most would leave out, Good work!
As for making your footstep volume quieter for other people and zombies, some of the lower-insulation footwear like sneakers, running shoes, athletic shoes and (to a slightly lesser degree) hiking shoes are much quieter (sound carries less far) than boots. The hiking boots used to be about the same as the hiking shoes, but that changed in 1.13 unfortunately. Anyway, a pair of running shoes or sneakers is sometimes a reasonable tradeoff now that zombies are way more lethal and stealth killing is available. Doesn't do anything for your own ears, though. The worst is those goddam runner zombies that _sound exactly like players_. That is heart-attack worthy sometimes.
Jumping out of windows: I think I'll always be scared to do that, like 5+ years ago i just remember any fall could break your leg so I don't trust it 😬
That landmine hiding trick is very useful for bases and hiding in buildings trying to snipe. Thank you for making it harder for people to siege my sniper nest >:)
I've always played with 1-8 in my pocket but the last 4 were just trickster moves I had NEVER seen before, very informative I will be using the last tip especially. 🔥🔥👍
I didn't know about fixing a suppressor while on the gun -- never even crossed my mind but makes sense given the interface. Nice. I also didn't know about silent gun switching (and even though that could carry a very tiny risk with it I think it's probably worth it 99% of the time). That was a fun video. Keep making them.
these are some pretty good tips! I knew most of them but some dont apply on console lol. I somehow never knew about the silent gun swapping method thanks
Ima use the sniping ones and the camo building one thats good Got one if you drink a canteen and crouch at the same time it goes straight to drinking and i think stops the sounds

You can change magazines by holding R. You can also fill them up by holding R. Put them all in your hotbar so you can quickly grab and fill them up.
