This is also my first time making a tutorial and more will come so also leave some ideas on what I should make in the future. Just a note, that's a twitter header not a banner. A yt banner's size is 2560 x 1440 I think, not sure tho

How do you make that background of the season lobby grey?
when you click on the layer with the copy, at the bottom there are different icons including one which looks like a half-filled circle. if you click on that it should bring you to what he showed in the video with the sliders for hue, saturation, and brightness. hope this helped!

He said, "delete." He selected the icon with his Magic Wand Tool, shortcut "W", and pressed his "delete" button. It's usually located in the top right on your keyboard. I hope this has helped.
This action was to remove the background on the image.
edit: It was most likely hard to catch since he clearly has an accent that is hard to understand at some points, and both image background and the normal backdrop were the same colour.
