Yeah, I always thought that was sort of stupid of him, but that’s the writers! He was too easily provoked, and sometimes he was the instigator. If my stepmother was as powerful as Endora, I would not raise my voice except in emergencies. But York was a great actor and pulled it off, despite how unlikely his persona would last after constantly ribbing Endora. Sometimes, be nice is just the right thing to do, besides also saving us from being turned into a toad.
@0:04 Darrin, how about taking a look on the inside of yourself? Perhaps if he didn't shout and scowl so much he would not have to worry about his outward appearance. Yes I know it's a sitcom from many years ago. I'm just venting!!
True, his resorting to anger with gusto, probably took a few years off of his life. Even if it was acting. In fact, didn’t he get hurt on the job when he hurt his back? He was probably too tense to successfully play the scene.
@@jamesholbrook6734 I believe so, regarding hurting his back. But I broke my T12 into 5 pieces when I was 46 and in great shape and I'm now 67 and life goes on after 4 additional back surgery but I'm done with back surgery.... I guess it's just different for everybody. I do have pain management and I 100% control anything that goes past my lips.... I don't have millions of dollars set aside from my acting jobs so my cats and grandkids are dependent on my existence.
@@jamesholbrook6734 yes, I believe so but sometimes you just have to woman/man up!! But in his case he didn't really need to because he likely had a decent retirement$€£ already stashed away. Pain thresholds vary from people to people....
Honestly, Napoleon was the best in a specific moment of the history ❤like Julio Cesar, cleopatra, Pancho Villa peraph, the ordinary people haven't tolerance for the heroes, just the heroes ❤.
