I work in non-profit finance and it’s so rewarding and relatively less stressful than being in a for-profit company. Look into organizations that you’re genuinely passionate about; with your experience/knowledge you’ll definitely excel. The nonprofit world definitely isn’t perfect, but I love it for now and highly recommend it to anyone that has been considering it :)
Soooo true! I was in public accounting, absolutely dreaded it. I thought I didn’t like accounting anymore. But I applied to a NFP as a financial analyst. Probably one of the best decision I ever made and most fulfilling job!
State gov employee here (attorney, not accountant) but it’s so fulfilling and I think you would like it!!

It’s good to explore other options and jobs you might be interested in. I always go with just apply and see what happens

I also experience some anxiety around timeliness and feeling pressure to fill my time with productive things. It’s been a work in progress, but I’m definitely learning to soak in the slowness if life like you mentioned ☺️

For the TOG tandem read, I definitely recommend the physical books. What I did was get both books from my local library and checked them out, used sticky notes to mark the chapters and made notes and highlights in my kindle! That way I didn’t have to buy the two physical books but I still have the kindle books that I can look back on and cry. 😅
hahahah having the kindle highlights to look back on and cry is SO real LOL. def gonna do the physical books!!!

Unpopular (maybe) opinion- after heir of fire I just couldn’t get into the series anymore. I did really like tower of dawn a lot, but the others just got a little strange for me after Caeleana (spelled that wrong for sure) had a little bit of a personality change. I love tower of dawn bc it’s from chaol’s perspective and the “new characters” there are mentioned previously!
WOAAAAAH i def havent heard that! interested to see what the personality change is like, but i can say i dont feel as attached to her as i felt to feyre in ACOTAR. also im a chaol GIRL omfg so im excited for his perspective!!!
