@julianblacksmith8539 no, there are 3 gates on the deck. Usually closed they will trap water on the deck like a pool. Just open them to let it run off.
So that's just straight up wrong. Ain't no pontoon boat going 100 mph amd certainly not for 100k. Pontoon boats that can top out at 60 are beasts and easily 200k+
I got a Seadoo switch-18’- took it out in the Pacific off coast of Oxnard. Did fine but scary. Got sideways a couple of times by not hitting the waves head on. Had to turn around- but, it handled pretty well and took on zero water. Things just ain’t made for rough ocean waves. But I’ll stack it up against most boats for buoyancy and handles small waves like a champ.
Literally can’t sink it though you might blow chunks and get sea sick riding in chop like that 🤒 they have pontoons that have three tubes talk about buoyancy and riding high like a cork
Finally someone with some sense. Still waiting for someone to show me a single pontoon that has completed sunk that doesn’t have catastrophic damage to the logs. I’ll take a 22ft pontoon in open waters over a 22ft flatboat or v bottom any day.
@@robertsrt I'm a pontoon dealer in a yacht club area and everyone talks so much crap...until they get on one. totally agree with you on the tritoon vs. runabout versus
@@maxe6478I’ve been on plenty of smaller fishing vessels, and a few pontoons over the years. Last year, I bought a pontoon boat, and I have zero regrets. I’m putting a new deck on it, and completely rewiring it with the right stuff. It will never be perfect, but I want it to look semi decent. All boats suck in chop, but even in light current, v-bottoms rock badly, and anytime there’s a weight shift. On my boat, rocking is very minimal.
Never take a twin tube toon out through a rough inlet like that. And everyone should be in the rear of the boat with the motor trimmed up to get the bow up as high as possible. I'd also have life jackets on everyone and yo a$$ is def sitting down.
Doing great! Wish that guy would just sit down and enjoy the ride like the other two🎉
Everybody has that one friend that we bring along to demonstrate a full range of emotions. Most of us men don't.
When swamped, just secure everything in the floor then open all the side gates to let the water out!
are you talking about the water ballast to make it lighter

I like the way the water just washes the vomit away.
She won’t sink… but she’ll flip
They got pontoons that can go over a 100 miles an hour...... And cost over a hundred grand

@@Paddydukes89they literally posted a pontoon boat going 114mph on this channel
My pontoon goes 70 and vost me 14k@@Paddydukes89
100K is cheap now you can easily hit 250K to 300K! It’s got way out of hand!
@@EthanKendall37there is one. It did a world record run and you say, “they have…” 😂😂😂😂😂
Pontoons it is then. 🎉
That one dude is chillin the most

That's gotta be the best pirate I've ever seen!
It would appear so..
Looks like pontoons can handle rough water pretty well
tri toons handle it even better, up north in the great lakes people have some awesome tri toons they run through 5 foot seas like butter
just not high winds...they flip
dont eat before going on this boat lol

Hard to sink but they can capsize

Pontoon floating stable for deep ocean and strom big wave
Not what they were designed for

Looks strong as
Looks like Gilligan 😂😂
you can't sink a pontoon unless you hit like a tree stump and poke a hole in the tube .those could go completely underwater and Bob to the surface
Oh yeah, it can out to open sea!!😂😂😂😂
What's better than a pontoon 🤔 a Hovercraft 😁
ain't boating fun!
So my girlfriend says to me "I don't know why you didn't get a pontoon boat" LMAO
They scared
Pontoon are pretty hard to sink
Now that's plain stupid
They got the pump running so they won’t sink
What??? There’s no pump on those boats. There’s literally no where for the water to collect to even be pumped out. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wrong boat
Not really
