aliosha babosha that's a bad advice. Headsets for gaming purposes have a different contact order on the plug for the microphone than let's say your standard Samsung or Apple smartphone earbuds, and depending on your gaming console, the latter are often not compatible.

Boy, they say motherboard shopping is hard, but have you tried finding a good monitor at about 150$? Bruh... The best I saw was an LG monitor with 1080p 1ms (blur? Idk what that is) 75hz refresh rate (I think only via display) and when you think that this is your deal, I find a 4k monitor at 30 bucks more... There are just too many monitors to find the best one for the price.
FunkadelicPeach I have these headphones and are surprisingly nice ( for me anyways) but I would recommend them on a budget, they work on consoles and pc
I recently visited a Chinese internet cafe and they also had the Apie Vibration at every PC. I honestly didn't expect it to only cost 10$ since it was very comfortable and for playing games the sound quality was sufficient (but generally the rest of the gear was the cheapest of cheap, so I supposed the headset wouldn't be to expensive either).
I bought a Hunterspider headset for $20 and the mic is pretty good, they fit well, and all the padding is nice. They have RGB, and a boom mic. Believe it or not, I actually like them a lot.
I appreciate how you title this series of videos as "Round Up" rather than "Top Five" like other channels. If a video is titled Top Five, it better be the best 5 headphones they could find for the price, not just some random headphones they picked up.
If your mainly wanting the best possible headset for Music listening then almost ANY headset will do as all you need is a $30 AUD (about $20 USD) portable headphone amp as almost all headsets, expensive & cheap use the exact same speakers/phones but have different pre-amps, I ended up with 9 damn headsets in my quest to find the best ones for music & bass & the best ones are the cheapest I have, a used pair of Beats Solo headphones with one of those portable headphone amps! The MUCH more expensive Beats units like Studio were MUCH worse even with the amp, but the The Beats Solo are insane so are a cheap pair of "Soul" brand headphones. The portable Amp's have a built in rechargeable battery that lasts for well over 8 hours flat out too.
I have the G2000, and they're great. I bought mine from another company from Amazon, which seems to have disappeared, but I paid about £15 for them. They're incredibly comfortable, and the plastic over the drivers isn't noticeable at all for me. The headphone jack did start to fray on mine after about 6 months, but some tape fixed it. I'd actually recommend them.
I have the G2000 also, the sound is great and they are so comfortable... I wish I had the money for the expensive headsets, but I havnt.. I bought these from amazon and they have over 1600 reviews , looking through the most recent 5 pages of reviews every one gave them 5 stars ! I love them and they are great from gaming too.
I bought a set called the Easyacc G1 from Amazon. £25, virtual 7.1, adjustable audio bitrate, noise cancelling mic, auto adjust headband, similar to the MSI in this video, but look way nicer, they have a sound linked vibrate function, braided cable, led lighting, and are built beautifully, and sound excellent. Check them out www.amazon.co.uk/EasyAcc-Surround-Sound-vibration-function-headphones-Black/dp/B01G53FAFK alas they've gone up by £4 since I got mine, but they are a gem at the price
the G2000s broke after 6 months for me and due to lack of warranty, I had to buy a new headset. This time I got a Logitech G231 while it was on sale and bought a 3-year protection plan for it which means that A) it has good build quality and B) If it breaks, a replacement is free!
I used to have the G2000 awhile ago, that thing served me to the end to the point it started physically falling apart from me dropping it so much, but it worked all the way.
i had a set of kotion each g2000, looked at a review and apparently in china they can't actually give tech names, that's why there's a shit ton of letters then numbers, as a side note the g2000's are decent from the start but after a few days maybe even hours the sound goes to shit
A serious note on the MSI DS501 headset. I bought it and the sound quality is ok. Everything that linus said was true. However, after only a few months of active use, the inline controller started to break. Whenever you would adjust the volume the audio would often always go to only one side, forcing me to fine tune the volume back to a point where the audio was even. Very shortly after they stopped working altogether.
If you're looking for an option I'd recommend the Acer KG240. Can find a refurbished one on Amazon for about $150 USD. (144 hz 1ms TN 24") Any cheaper, may as well use a TV.
I bought the Red Dragon keyboard and Lennon Mouse off the round up videos and the reviews were spot on. So I definitely want to check out those $10 headphones.
Although it is a study of one, I have a set of the Sades headphones from this video and can confirm they have great audio for the price. While their bass is not nearly as good as more expensive headphones they certainly are not muddy. I can't say the shiny plastic and fake leather is the most comfortable but I would still highly recommend them.
APIE headphones can not be found anywhere. BUT there are lots of headphones (like "Trust 22447 LUMEN") that look almost the same. I guess the same Chinese company manufactures these headphones for many firms but i'm not sure. They also cost the same (10-15 USD) as well.
One of these days I will finally upgrade my $3 earphones I got from the grocery store down the road. In the meantime I'll just keep watching the video to keep myself informed of which one to buy
Lol! I literally asked this question because I have the $40 cyber acoustics speakers! I have the CA-3602! Great speakers! Don't use headphones much because of them!
7:09 I own this one and I LOVE it. I wear these for hours at a time (Usually 5+) and they're super comfy. I've never had an issue with them hurting my ears or head. They have pretty good sound too. Only issues i have is that they're too big, even on the smallest setting. I do have a small head though, so if you also have a small head, I don't recommend these if you want a tight fit. Also, the mic feels like it's miles way from your face. So if you're a quiet talker, and plan on using the mic, don't get this.
Regarding the first one, I use some other 10 dollar headphones and they sound good, have buttons to control volume, etc. Are wireless and are built much better and look much better than the one you showed first. No leds though
“They actually sound ok.... but with all of the other problems.... who honestly cares” Lmfao Omg I freaking died and choked on air becuz of the amount of sarcasm in this video absolutely freaking loved it 👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
I thought the nails @ 0:10 where Linus's nails and told myself I could see Linus with long sparkle nails and still be cool 😎 while reviewing the headsets 😂👌great video
Noah McAdams Do you think they are better than the HypeX Cloud Stinger? Just got one this Black Friday but not sure how to feel about it's sound quality.
I remember getting the g2000s a year ago. 2 days ago I got the razer kraken x. Best headset for 50 in my opinion. They should remake this episode for 50 dollars.
i really must recommend that you give the sades another shot. knocking them for having glossy plastic seems like a bit of a cheap shot to me, to be honest. i have had mine for around 3 years and i couldn't be happier with them! mine are the usb variant, however. maybe next time do a video on cheap USB head sets? (I flat out REFUSE to use analogue headphones or mics anymore)
Tbh, Kotion Each G2000 actually stands out pretty good for a budget gaming headphones. If u could neglect the poor leather cushion earcup and sweaty ears, it does sound amazing. For a budget headphones like this, u get punchy bass and it's switchable, unfortunately the USB A that comes along doesn't provide surround sound but only single light around the earcup chambers and bass sounds. I've been using it for almost 2 years, this gaming headphones is worth the price.
I actually had the Kotion Each, in orange. I had gotten it with a 3 year warranty, but it was sent to my email that got banned. Ouch. I can't get that warranty back.
*I got my nubwo a month ago for 17.99$!!* It had no problems like that on mine! And also it had a different color and theband was nice...i think urs is broken...i tried how much base it has on mines and it blew my ears off....
I have it too, and aside from the stupid positioned mic mute switch I think for that price its a really good headset. I have used a lot of good headphones from akg, sony, bayerdynamic etc. and they all sound better, but not that much. For me, it´s realy comfortable and can´t understand the bad test result.
i got the nubwo also not too long ago during the UK prime day for £15 and mine work great. I used to have a logitech g430 headset and these are more sturdier and sound better than that.
1st of all: What do subs have to do with anything? 2nd: You have ~50 subs with less than 40 view on your channel making me think they're either bots or people who don't watch your videos 3rd: If this was a joke or I didn't understand a reference I feel really dumb :^)
I’m wearing the beex ones right now. I think they are pretty good but the wire length is ridiculously long but other than that the sound quality is pretty good.
@@danielsigijoseph4303 It's doing great--So far, I haven't had any issues frequently using them other than the mic getting in the way here and there, but other than that, it's not bad
So there was only one option for me and that sucked..-.- Viper was only one with fabric ear muffs. From past experience i must suggest Creative Fatality headset anyone who is looking for alternative to all these shitty fake leather ones. Even though bit more expensive and older model, making it harder to find.
i hope not, me and my friend have been checking Amazon daily since this video went up.. update i gave up waiting and just bought Logitech G230 , i've waited enough :D
*bro literally same story they arent bad I use them for pc and they work better than most of my friends' 100 dollar plus headphones. They do feel cheap and arent super comfortable but besides that very reliable.*
buy nice or buy twice guys. I went through so many shit headsets/headphones before spending a little money on some nice headphones and a modmic. especially if you're the type of gamer to throw your headphones around a little bit none of these will last ten minutes.
I can recommend Sades a7 / Sades a9 for 7.1 sorrounf sound and vibration built in.Good for fps games and soft ear cups plus bigger than any headset out there! Totally good if you does not have much money 😊
I've been using the Nubwo N2 for 4 years now and i can say they were extremely worth the price/performance. The head band doesn't dig into my skull like how they had as a problem, my head is on the small side. The pleather started breaking down after 2 years and first headset issue where the headphone wires inside the cord broke after 3.5 years. Fixed by cutting the wire shorter and reattaching on the pcb with hot glue lol. The sound quality is actually really good. Few days ago, the mic finally gave in and that's why I'm here today. Though the mic wasn't the greatest like all these other products here. +20Db to get them audible for others to hear me and picks up a lot of background noise. they aren't listed on amazon anymore. Please make another video review on these headsets 2022/2023 that would be great!
@@hadrielham its english lol stop being a complaining bitchass some people dont live in the first world countries where you get massive fucking pay checks
I have the kotion each headset and, they aren't too bad. They sound pretty good, and the mic is quiet but, they have good noise cancellation. They are kind of uncomfortable at first but, once you break them in they aren't too bad. For 25 bucks I was pretty impressed when I bought them.
Same I got G5300 for 20 bucks it has led and a decent mic which doesn't kill my friend and the sound is good and can be better if you know how to amplify it.

Also, the mic feels like it's miles way from your face. So if you're a quiet talker, and plan on using the mic, don't get this.
nooo they suck, not worth the money because the rubber near the head jack gets permanantly stuck and it barely fits against my laptop jack
"i spent all my money on DLC" So true, with games pretty much released as demos now days lol!
I found this video to be EXTREMELY funny.
what is the answer for the question @7.52???
Tunnelbear of course xD
Do you know who else is shallow?
Jack Hess and answer?
this is it there wasn't one. It was implied it was Linus
Oh bahah I thought he was implying his wife XD
Regarding the first one, I use some other 10 dollar headphones and they sound good, have buttons to control volume, etc. Are wireless and are built much better and look much better than the one you showed first. No leds though
“They actually sound ok.... but with all of the other problems.... who honestly cares” Lmfao Omg I freaking died and choked on air becuz of the amount of sarcasm in this video absolutely freaking loved it 👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Logitech g230 is 25 bucks on Amazon right now and they're awesome
Noah McAdams Do you think they are better than the HypeX Cloud Stinger? Just got one this Black Friday but not sure how to feel about it's sound quality.

i really must recommend that you give the sades another shot. knocking them for having glossy plastic seems like a bit of a cheap shot to me, to be honest. i have had mine for around 3 years and i couldn't be happier with them! mine are the usb variant, however. maybe next time do a video on cheap USB head sets? (I flat out REFUSE to use analogue headphones or mics anymore)
Tbh, Kotion Each G2000 actually stands out pretty good for a budget gaming headphones. If u could neglect the poor leather cushion earcup and sweaty ears, it does sound amazing. For a budget headphones like this, u get punchy bass and it's switchable, unfortunately the USB A that comes along doesn't provide surround sound but only single light around the earcup chambers and bass sounds. I've been using it for almost 2 years, this gaming headphones is worth the price.
Apie: Currently Unavailable
MSI: $30, in stock December 2.
Search sades a7 or sades a9.7.1 sorround sound and vibration. Also big ear cup and soft for gaming for hours.Cheap too!
This is probably the funniest review from Linus!
$50 cans video?
I actually had the Kotion Each, in orange. I had gotten it with a 3 year warranty, but it was sent to my email that got banned. Ouch. I can't get that warranty back.
*I got my nubwo a month ago for 17.99$!!*
It had no problems like that on mine!
And also it had a different color and theband was nice...i think urs is broken...i tried how much base it has on mines and it blew my ears off....
is it good for youtube?
well the microphone is definetly better than an 8 dollar webcam. how much better is up to preference but i still like my nubwo a lot
I was expecting Redragon headphones.
0 SUBS XD
1st of all: What do subs have to do with anything?
2nd: You have ~50 subs with less than 40 view on your channel making me think they're either bots or people who don't watch your videos
3rd: If this was a joke or I didn't understand a reference I feel really dumb :^)
No. There was a fake Linus Tech Tips guy with 0 subs and posting a link under his comment
Ah, I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding

You reviewed the wrong Sades headphones, the Sades Spellond are SO much better, and only $25
I’m wearing the beex ones right now. I think they are pretty good but the wire length is ridiculously long but other than that the sound quality is pretty good.
btw the G933 gaming loga tech headset is so good
but its around 85$
I own the kotion each headset and it's pretty good. It has been 3 years since I bought it and it still works as new
Does it have have good sound and for how much u bought it
@@steelixion Yes It hasn't changed at all. Worth the money
wow 3 years!
I have a Kotion Each too, i have been using them for 4 months and they work amazing. Hope they can work as long as yours xD
I recently got a new headset but I used that one for 3 years and it was not amazing but pretty good for the price
Hey you should do cheap wireless headphones
Jack Brock sentry bt300
Jack Brock just go on aliexpress the chinese brands arent bad for the prices and if you dig deep enough you can find really good steals
I just bought the Turtle Beach Recon 50x from Amazon for 24.95. Hope it's pretty solid.
@@danielsigijoseph4303 It's doing great--So far, I haven't had any issues frequently using them other than the mic getting in the way here and there, but other than that, it's not bad

You lied to me.
So there was only one option for me and that sucked..-.- Viper was only one with fabric ear muffs.
From past experience i must suggest Creative Fatality headset anyone who is looking for alternative to all these shitty fake leather ones. Even though bit more expensive and older model, making it harder to find.

I can't find this type of video on RUclips . plz make the video on budget/cheap monitoring headphones
buy nice or buy twice guys.
Oli Harding superlux headphones are cheap and reliable, i use a separate xlr mic to compensate for the lack of a mic
Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro here
FarisTheMMP sa 903 is good too
ath-m50x with modmic baby
Yay,Now I can finally communicate with my team when I'm playing as lucio, *now I can stop tilting*

Yeah, those things are reliable.
