That was amazing! It's wonderful to see how these were originally made.
Beautiful icons! ☦
What a wonderful talent and display of simple yet effective ancient technologies. Thank you very much for this film.
WOW! This is gold! This is something I have always wondered about....
Impressive research and technique. As a beginning jade carver, I will use a few of your techniques with much thanks.
this is awesome! i love the technique of using ground stone on soft metal as the grinding wheel. Im sure it embeds itself in the surface of the metal and makes a barrier. ineteresting

Невероятен си Чавдаре. Определено мисля, че древните хора са били много по находчиви и много по изобретателни от нас наследниците. Поздрави от Мадрид.
This is one of the coolest videos I’ve ever seen
i really really appreciate this, thorough and easy to follow demonstration of the production of these gorgeous gem engravings, ive looked thru lots of papers on the subject but information on this process is lacking, this video made it clear and i have a deep appreciation of these artists and there work. also what you produced was very beautiful!
Both beautiful and amazing. Very special results with hand tools.
I don't wear jewelry, but if I wanted to, it would definitely be in the style of ancient Greeks and Romans. I like their style of jewelry.
I’ve watched your video several times and learn each time. Thanks so much. Loved the roosters too!
What a great video! I love looking at ancient artifacts and I've looked at hundreds of Greek and Roman intaglio gems on various museum websites, but until today, I never looked up how they were made. This was a very informative and interesting video.

Wow!
Where can I study gem carving? Intaglio specifically
What would you say the various grades of naxos stone powder you use in the demonstration would correspond to in terms of grits of emery powder? I've a mind to try this for myself, but I'm not sure what coarse/medium/fine would mean when buying the grit.
