I’m still loving how you step outside your comfort zone (no pink cards). I feel like you’re exploring your options. Thank you for pushing my creativity buttons.
WOW WOW WOW fabulous cards Kristie 😻 I love your card designs, the pattern papers and the images. They are all unique ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
Wow! I can't tell you how many times I said, that's gorgeous during this video - but it was a lot. Pretty much after each set of cards you created. 😊 I so enjoyed seeing all of them. And, I am really looking forward to the year-end scrap video, too. Thank you so much!
Holy cow, what a collection of the cards are magnificent!!! I have learned so much from you, and thank you so much!!! P.S. I can’t wait to get my order from love from Lizzie!!! Placed it when you shared with us we would get a great deal on her PeelPeel offs! They are the finishing touch to a card I’ve been looking for!!
I love these! I have this pad and I would struggle with a couple of the patterns, but these turned out great! I do love the earth colors in this collection. Thanks for another fabulous 6x6 video, so relaxing for a Sunday night.
I have watched quite a few of your videos and have always wished you explained some of the things you're doing. However, I just watched someone else's video if putting cards together and she talked SO much!! I found myself telling her to just be quiet in my head!! lol...thank you for doing your videos like you do.
Hello Kristie, Is there a secret to putting a card together and getting everything straight/square on the card? I can't seem to get rectangles to line up straight with each other and you make it look so easy to do. When I go to glue down a card front onto the card stock, it will look like it's going down straight, but it ends up too crooked for my eye. I love to watch you put a card together, wishing I could do things as straight as you, so I thought I would ask you and see if there are any tips.
Make sure your paper trimmer actually cuts straight. That could be the problem. Also, I have used cardstock and pattern papers that aren't perfectly square. Drives me crazy. When I'm adhering my layers, I like to line up 3 sides together. Then I can always trim the 4th side if it's a bit off. I have heard of tools that can help with layering, but I've never used them.
@@KristieMarcotte I find that the small trimmer that I use by Tim Holtz is the trimmer I find the most square. The Fiskars paper trimmers drove me crazy because every one of them went off when I used them. LOL! I notice that you put the card front onto your cards with the cards upside down, or folded side first. I've been trying that and it's a little better, but I don't know why that is. I use pre-folded card bases most often now, for convenience, but I notice that, when I fold them, they are often off a bit. Some people put their card fronts onto card bases using their Misti stamp platforms. Thank you for your answers to my question. I appreciate the time you took to answer it.
The other day I believe you said you added 1/8” to the measurements on the sketches. I think I understand but would you please explain? I think it’s for the extra layers you like to add.
Yes, I generally add 1/8" for the cardstock layers. For example, if the pattern paper piece is 3"x4", the cardstock layer would be 3 1/8"x4 1/8". If you prefer a wider layer, you could add 1/4".
I do both. If there is a new sketch I want to try, I'll start with the sketch. I'm always looking at the pattern papers to see what sketch will be perfect to highlight them. Many times I select the sketch based on a specific image or sentiment I want to use.

Christie, do you start with the paper then pick layouts, or visa versa?
I do both. If there is a new sketch I want to try, I'll start with the sketch. I'm always looking at the pattern papers to see what sketch will be perfect to highlight them. Many times I select the sketch based on a specific image or sentiment I want to use.
Where can I find the ATG tape gun holder?
The ATG Holster is from Make It By Marko. They have an Etsy shop with lots of great crafty tools.
Do you stamp anything on the inside?
Most of the time, but I'll wait until I know who the card recipient is.
