Happy to see u sharing this sir...i have completed masters in maths and i like abstract algebra..Can u suggest some software and programming language that can further help me in understanding abstract algebra the broader aspect of it.
I love mathematics but I’ve never been interested in programming, nor think I’m good at it. Do you have any tips cause I know it’s an important skill to learn for many careers in mathematics
Yes. Programming is a must in this day and age for any of the hard sciences. I find this unfortunate since I am not fond of it though I love physics. No need to be some super hacker at it, but every good scientist knows how to do data analysis and simulations.
Probably the most important one is to have really solid background in linear algebra and discrete mathematics. As soon as you know those two subjects, you can go and deeper your knowledge. Being able to do proofs and good skills of mathematical critical thinking is really critical in any field, you will improve them by doing practice, practice, practice, ..
We are looking like at the section of 6 dimensional space. Image of a plane cuts a sphere, then the intersection of a sphere and a plane is a circle. So, we are looking at a circle in some sense.
I am currently pursuing integrated btech+mtech(completed my 2 nd year) in it department from iiit gwalior.i am interested in maths and i am passionate of pursuing phd in computer science which contains more maths to do.can u tell me the process and mainly the topics for this
@@MathForLife cool! Algebraic geometry is not easy😂good luck 💪My area was abstract algebra, specifically normed division algebras and some stuff on projective and stably-free modules
@@MathForLife I proved that there are only 4 normed division algebras: the reals, complex, quaternions and octonions. And then did some basic number theory in the quaternions and proved some results about non trivial projective and stably-free modules which I'm sure would go over your head 😂 (they went over my head too don't worry)
"After the code is done running we have this kind of sh!t" lmao
i think he said "we have this kind of shape" 😂
ahah, ESL karma lol
Why didn't you add the regular 2hrs of contemplating life and 1hr of crying 😂
it's coming..
I appreciate this, after graduation i want a PhD in physics
PhD in physics is great! What part of physics?
@@MathForLife astrophysics
That’s awesome!
Which software u people are using in code!! May i know it!
@@anirbanmajumder3722this is python
self explanation is the powerful tool for math student lol🤣
ahaha, yes indeed:)
Being the mechatronics engineer, I appreciate this man that he stay connected with maths till the end🙏🙏🙏🙏.
Thank you!
literally amazing brother ❤️
Glad you like it!
Only the true math student knows that their work day is a day on LaTeX
Amazing ❤
Thank you!!🙌
Sounds terrifying. Calc 2 really dealt with me 😢
So cool and looks extremely hard
But it’s getting easier the more you work and think about it!
VERY cool
Thank you for watching
Jupyter lab lol yep 😂
yes, Jupyter lab indeed lol
I want to do phd in pure part of math as well but i dont know anything about coding
That’s fine. You will pick it up along the way.
Passed!
Nice!
This is more of programming

What will you do with that shape?
So far study it, but it relates to computer vision as each color component is a decision component as I understand.
Hi, was wondering what's the model of the laptop you're using?
Microsoft laptop touchscreen
Aware
Its a theorical phd or apllied?
It’s a combination of both!

@@MathForLife Why did I see a blue cube??
Is there hope for me😂
Real application where it is used
applications?
is this the radar data in 3D?
No, but sounds interesting. Where can I read more about it?:)
applied math?
Yep)

Discrete math is the first most important step! Make sure to understand every single topic in there fully. Good luck!
Sounds like hell
That has its own beauty within it:)
Is this pure or applied math?
kind of both
What particular area of maths is your PhD in? (I have a Master's in maths so you can be specific dw)
Real algebraic geometry, on what topics are you working on?

@Ghost____Rider that’s interesting! Thank you!:) what’s one of the coolest result that you learned studying it? What was your favourite thing?

Yeah, kind of:)
No respectable mathematician would code.

"ok boomer"
what field is your phd program in?
Mathematics!
@@MathForLifei meant what field of math
@@icyy2015 Probably pure math.
@computerzero2681 He meant more specific. Things like Number Theory or Algebraic Geometry
what are you solving here
Some small interesting puzzle:)
Ahh MATLAB shit, ofc hhhhh
Matlab?)
It's Matlab right ?????
Nope:)
