Perfect way to start my day. Thank you so much for doing these, Amy. They really have a soothing power for a lot of people. This arrangement is no exception!
Exactly how you say it. Never listened to too many harp plays before, but since I discovered her, just playing these songs on spotify helps me to relax so much. Really powerful.
@@Harpsibored Thank you, for the lovely music. Just now read the description. Sorry about your wrist. I've had the same injury in the same wrist from my violin. Glad to hear you're taking it in stride, but take care of yourself, and get well soon.
Oh, the nostalgia 💕 I spent hours in towns in FFIV just to listen to the music while wondering how in the hell I was going to get enough Gil to buy the equipment I wanted.
What's funny is a castle's population considering all the peasants and guards could easily fit a small town, but your point stands. This live performance was 10/10 and sounds awesome. Sorry to hear about the wrist injury though, but I'm glad to hear about the chill town themes. Those are some of my favorites. Maybe you could play the Harp with your feet and go viral in that way. I don't think that's been done and people like weird things. 😂 Pay no real attention to that. Great Harp solo! 👍👍🪽🎶🎵🏠🏚🏚🛖🛖🏚🏠
@@Harpsibored Just this year I discovered I have mild tennis elbow from being physically active with some hobbies, such as gardening, weights, and musky fishing, and something I will start wearing when doing strenuous activity is wear a counterweight strap or tendon compression strap. You see athletes wear them sometimes, etc. Maybe that might help? I know nothing about wrist issues, though.
Glad to hear that!! FFIV was my very first Nintendo era FF game (admittedly after I played the PS1 ones first haha), but it does hold a special place in my heart too. Thank you for listening 💖
Ah, there's just something so especially charming about this town theme. Maybe that's just nostalgia, who knows... Thank you so much, this is the perfect music to listen to on a slow afternoon. So sorry to hear about your wrist, but at the same time very much looking forward to the rest of the town themes you have planned!
Thank you so much!!! I used to find this theme more melancholy, but as I began to play it myself I found a surprising serenity, so I can see why you find it charming 💖
Any town theme sounds beautiful when you play it! And I actually like this theme, especially after hearing the Pixel Remaster version. Aah, so your wrist was the reason behind you making that face, it was not disgust but pain... 😢 Casting my biggest Curaga on you! 🫸🏻💫
Oh no worries, the face was just being annoyed with myself for messing up haha. Thank you so much though 💖 Interestingly this was one of my least favorite town themes hahaha. Probably because it's more on the melancholy side. But for some reason as I played it on the harp I grew to really love it.
@@Harpsibored Ah, good news then! My personal least favorite is FF3's Ur, it's good anyway , but not as beautiful as the others. You think town themes are calm and easier to play, but you won't be laughing when you try Streets of Rabanastre! 😅
Yeah I won't be trying Streets of Rabanastre anytime soon hahahaha I agree with you, I did NOT like Ur at all for some reason, but it's been starting to grow on me. For my FF3 town theme piece, I'm debating between Ur and Amur at the moment. I did polls on YT and Twitter. Ur won on YT and Amur won on Twitter, so it was zero help 😆 I guess I'll just do whichever one I'm in the mood for
A lovely adaptation, great job 😊 takes the panic off running out of gil trying to get all 5 party members new goodies 😅 As for the injury, I believe you'll get through this 🥺💚
Amazing as always. I look forward to your posts each time and am always curious as to what song you will choose next. Sometimes I just let your songs run as a playlist. As a lifelong FF fan, I just want to say thank you, and I look forward to the next one.
Excellent addition to your Town Themes repertoire! I know IV isn't unappreciated, but I still feel like it's underrated...if that makes any sense. Both in terms of its groundbreaking story and its music.
Wow hearing this filled me with so many great memories! This is a really beautiful rendition of the song and the fact you could evoke these feelings in another person is incredible. Thank you so much! Keep working your magic into the world!
This sounds so pretty and comfy at the same time. I love it! I'm looking forward to hearing which town theme you decide to cover next! Also, sorry to hear about your wrist injury. I hope that it heals ASAP!
Ahhh, brings back memories. Looking back on it, the soundtrack to this entire game was a big musical influence for me. Absolutely love it - thanks!! Last night I was listening to other music and came across a really nice melody (also from my past) from Chrono Cross - The Departed Ones. Are you familiar with it? Bet it sounds beautiful on the harp. I've been listening to John Oeth's arrangement. Thanks for the upload and lovely playing. FFIV! 🤘
I still haven't played CC and am not that familiar with the OST. But DAMN. I just listened to The Departed Ones and it would sound GORGEOUS on the harp I think. Thank you very much for telling me about it!!! I'll consider it, although I still gotta deal with some health issues in the meantime. Thank you for listening 💖 EDIT - somebody suggested I try playing Jellyfish Sea from CC too. I really love that one as well, am thinking about giving that a go sometime. Do you like that track as well?
@@Harpsibored It's surprisingly good. I enjoyed it back in the day on the original Playstation. 😂 It's a good time to jump into it, what with the remaster and all. 🙃 Happy that you like it - just wanted to share it from one music lover to another. Whether or not you play it is entirely up to you. ☺️ Get well soon! I listened to Jellyfish Sea - I like it, but I find it a little sleepy, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I'm just wondering after hearing it what the arrangement would be like. Seems like a very popular track.
A lovely tune to start the day with. Soft and pleasant. Pairs well with rummaging for items through the tall grass and water in full armor. That is an especially nice dress, too. You look beautiful (as usual). Sorry about your wrist. Sounds like you're managing it alright, though.
@@Harpsiboredoh! No, it wasn't the thumbnail (unless, subconsciously); but I was picturing Troia Town. Even though that applies to every place you visit.
I always loved this theme, very soothing and beautiful ❤️🔥 but please take care of your wrist accordingly and we will eagerly await your next amazing video ❤️🩹
Thank you so much!!! 💖 will do! That's why the town themes are great for me. They lend themselves a bit more easily to being less intense on the wrist haha
nothing can beat your final fantasy ivy dress. your playing swoons me 9999 white points of nostangia, then 9999 green healing let the melodies heal your wrist. maybe switch to kalimba for a few. I know evey time I've ever accidentally bumped my fork against the table, the prong rang out like I'd just acquired a crystal.... Hmmm. I'm just a dark knight
Thank you so much, glad you like the dress hehe. I'll try to wear it in other videos again. I would rather risk prolonging my healing time than switch to kalimba HAHA. I guess I could try out an actual fork.

The days of yore, when our biggest resonsibility was to find a giant whale to go to the moon in.
