In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce the identity that I’ve received from everybody in my life who has incompletely told me who I am. I renounce the authority that I’ve given them to tell me who I am. And I now place that authority in you Heavenly Father because you alone know me and love me completely and see me for who I am.

You are never going to educate anyone with a monotone, disengaging, celibacy touting speaker. The Catholic church has no hope. Even though the ideas are true, and message profound, you will always struggle connecting with humanity with this approach.

Timmy you are so wrong...I did not find this speaker "monotone" or disengaging and his words on celibacy were not touted. I was definitely educated by his words and also inspired. I do not believe you are an expert on this either so please do not, in future, make statements about your opinions in a proclamatory way ...instead we should humbly offer our opinions.

You are a true modernist. However the Chatholic Church stands because it was established by Jesus himself.
God is the one that IS. The Chatholic Church does not need modernization, it's the modern man that desperatly needs God. The one True God established one True Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it, as He promisse to Peter.
