    Jees...... Everybody acts like going 30 mph on a 12 ft boat it's like riding a rocket sled. Not near as testy as a 21-ft bass boat with a 300 hp doing 85 mph. or even a tipsy 60 mph personal watercraft for that matter.

    • @westwaters1690
      @westwaters1690  3 года назад +1

      I'm from Canada, so it would be 30km and that's fast. I think the point is, the tin boat is rated for 9.9 and I put 20hp on it. It was just fun, I didn't do it thinking I was proving to be the fastest boat on the ocean.

    • @markanton2349
      @markanton2349 3 года назад +1

      @@jakebraun6376 Quite to the contrary I have a 2 stroke 50 horsepower Merc on the 13'10" sea nymph tin can that does 45 mph and a 20hp on a 12 ft sea nymph (1236) that does 34 mph and finally, a 10 ft Alumacraft 1036 John with a 15 horse 2-stroke that does just a hair under 30 mph. I also own a 33 ft offshore center console Palmetto with a pair of Verado 350s that does just a hair under 70 mph. For me those tinnies are just comfortable cruising speed when I'm freshwater fishing. And for those of you who have never driven a bass boat that does 85 mph, it is truly work to keep the boat from cow walking at top speed. My little tinnies are very stable at top speed.
