- It appears the golf world has overestimated Charlie Woods’ talent. Why else would fans share shameful takes about a junior golfer’s failure to qualify for a PGA Tour event?
🔴 What Happened To Tiger Woods? ▶️ • What Happened To Tiger...
When Charlie Woods tees it up in big tournaments, everyone is watching. And…. critiquing this young golf superstar. In the eternity of golf’s existence, no 15-year-old golfer has been as popular as Charlie Woods is.
For a guy who has never played an American Junior Golf Association event, Charlie sure is an odd golf star. Is he getting a fair deal? Or is Charlie Woods as good as it seems?

Give the kid a break, he’s only 15. Leave him alone
Aman
This kid has a ton of pressure on him, let him be.
Pressure makes diamonds or mud.
The kid loves the attention .He is A show off
Golf Plus should be ashamed of this epic Clickbait headline.
For Gods sake how many 15 year old kids even try this event
Leave...the kid....alone.
CS. Charlie is 15 years old. Give the kid a chance. And I think the Golf World will get another Tiger and that will be soon.
Good grief, two different worlds. Let the boy be a boy just play golf Charlie enjoy your time. Nothing to prove to anyone but yourself.
Hey don’t get it twisted. We all have an 86 in us. Give me a break
Clickbait headline of the century
He is his own person in his own right òver the course of time how many of us emulate our peers especially successful ones like his dad.let the lad live his own life.
He had a 12. One hole like that would knock anyone out of the competition.
Great job ! Great incite ! Yes Charlie will be fine if he wants to play !
He’s a great young player so talented and he’s got the mental strength to go with it he’ll go far
Impossible
Hey Charlie, Skru the critics, they’re just jealous because you’re better than they are!!! ROFL!!!!
Congrats Charlie! You got your first taste of fair weather fans.
Charlie has a lots of pressure. He is just fine. Charlie is only 15 so give him a break.
🌻I have to say that the media and some golf fans expect too much from Charlie. Just leave him alone and let Charlie be who he is on his own accord. Another note, I have to say it was and is still never boring to watch Tiger do anything. There is a reason why fans continue to watch Tiger's past tournaments.🤓
Yes. Let him enjoy the game and all the experiences in his young life. You all need to stop. Wow! This commentary is just what the young man needs. Who is this guy?
Charlie has the potential to play pro golf without question. His swing is fundamentally very sound and he is already swinging his driver close to 120 MPH at age 15 and looks like he can putt pretty well in the videos I've seen. He's going to be under a tremendous amount of scrutiny with Tiger being his dad but I think he'll get more used to it as time goes on. It might have been a bit ambitious to put him in a pga tour pre-qualifier.
Very sad that Tiger has put Charlie in the lime light. Let the kid play high school golf in peace.
So how did Charlie go “off” again…?
Great commentary
Very good assessment! New subscriber
whoever the MO-ron giving him negative critique, maybe the announcer here, has obviously not played much if any golf, and never any competitive golf, not to mention he is only 15 years old, and doesn't matter if his Dad is Tiger Woods, golf is like that you can play really good and then out of nowhere bad rounds happen, you know why,, it's the hardest sport and/or game you will ever play
Easy to bash on a teenager from a keyboard when at 15 he's probably better then 99 percent of us out there..
Charlie is looking pretty buff. I wonder if he’s been hitting the weights.
Leave the kid alone... or do you want him to fail....
He will be good beleave it😊
The expectations of Tiger, the world, and the media
will probably impair or destroy this promising kid.
He needs to be left alone, finish school,
and come up the ranks like most golfers, without so much fanfare,
Kind of like Zach Johnson from - gulp - Iowa.
He'd be much better off staying under the radar, out from the media microscope,
and not be mesmerized by his good play in the PNC tournaments.
(heck, my three brothers and I, all bogey, double bogey golfers, shoot under par in 4 man best ball tournaments)
This may have given him the false hope that he will be the next Tiger Woods and to be as good and famous.
But....the fame has gotten before the cart and could spell disaster.
I hope not, and that he is an exception to all those offspring of pro golfers,
who, even with unlimited financial backing and best golf coaches in the world,
could not make the pro tour.
Time will tell, after the 1st year, I thought Justin Rose was a dud......
Just leave Charlie alone.. of the MILLIONS of golfers worldwide over the last 100 years, only THREE of them have won more than 10 majors (Jack, Tiger, and Walter Hagen). Just shows how phenomenally talented Tiger is.
TIGER use drugs
Justin Thomas and Jordan spieth
A lot of pressure on him. He will be just fine. He's only 15 so give him a break!!
"Give him a break?" Do you not realize how silly you sound. This kid has had and likely will have ALL the breaks ... no criticism of Charlie. Just your comment.
shut up, hes not gonna make it. not even close to his dad
Im not giving rich kids any break
I think it's ridiculous that Charlie Woods is trying to compete with professionals at this point, as if he believes he is that good. He must have a distorted sense of entitlement and his game if he thinks he belongs at the age of 15 with a game that clearly isn't that great yet. He may be good in time, and he can compete then. But to place himself in this kind of position trying to qualify for a tournament with real professionals is a bit presumptuous and even insulting.
Media Rats...... leave the kid alone.
We'll leave him alone when Tiger and company quit pushing him down our throats.
Leave the child alone. Let him grow up!
1:08 george bryan?
head case in the making. poor kid.
How y'all doing? 😁 Baby 🦍 Born Champion 🏆🥇🏆🥇🤩 STAR TRAK
Apples 🍎 don't fall too far from the trees 🎄 lol 😮😮😆 Charlie is the Original... ⛳
I hope Phill teaches this rich kid how to TIP
Yeah. Good grief!! Let him enjoy being a kid. That's what his Dad's doing.
Tiger was hungry, but Charlie is not. If he chooses golf as a profession, I wish him the best, and I'll see him on TV.
Absolutely, and that makes a difference in sports. He will be wealthy w/o golf, therefore, its norm everyday life around the golf arena. He’s going to be good because of his environment. How good or great depends on if he wants to continue the Woods legacy or playing because Tiger is encouraging him play.
All that trash talking came back to haunt him. Let your clubs do the talking, kid.
Give the kid a break all players are better now than they were then, Shut up and let him play the game
He’s just beefing on him this kids is still crazy at golf give him a break he’ll be insane by 18
jmo: if he's even 1/100th as good as tiger, he would be an average pga tour pro.
I was a bit more generous than you. I’ve been telling people if he achieves 10% of what his dad did, he would actually be one of the best players in the world. I personally don’t think he’ll achieve 10% which would be 7 PGA wins and win 2 majors. Golf is just to competitive today and I don’t think will ever see dominance like Tiger ever again.
so your saying you don't think he could be the next Xander Schauffele. and you would be right.
@@donh3590 odds are against him. No superstar athlete comes from a father who’s a billionaire. There is something about being broke and struggling that drives athletes to get out of poverty that pushes them to be great. Tiger has been on record saying he can’t get Charlie off his phone most day, that to me is a red flag, Tiger owns the best simulator in the world and you want to hear Tiger saying that Charlie just hits thousands and thousands of ball all day every day instead of being on his phone. Your probably going to say that he’s just a kid and he needs his down time, you listen to every superstar athlete, there was no down time, being great is an obsession and I just don’t see Charlie having it. From all reports he is just an average player for his age and just another player trying to get on tour. Tiger was GOD sent and had parents who sold their home to ensure Tiger became great, there’s just no where near that level of urgency with Charlie. Great watch to see what his career would be like but I will have money on that he will not produce 10% of what his dad did.
motivation aside, no one is going to come close to tiger for a long time.
@@donh3590that is true and I guess he’s going to be judged harshly because of what his day did, but I was more replying to the comments who said he was going to be a superstar. I hope the kid makes the PGA tour first of all, and I hope we see him hugging his dad after winning a major like Tiger did with his dad many times. Great conversation though, cheers.
Daddyball
Sorry, you start of by making a mistake, it was not on February 22 2023, but in this year 2024
Tiger was never Jack! Never will be! Doesn’t have Jack’s major record! Jack is the 🐐! Don’t care about Charlie…at all! Soeey! I just don’t!
gtfoh tiger has more wins in less starts.
So we had to put up with Tiger Woods again Tiger barely making a cut and we had to watch him as if he was in the lead .
Miles Russell is aga no.1 age 15 , is far better, you wait he smash all tigers records,
Clickbait. Leave the kid alone. Stop doing cheap videos.
unfortunately he has limited ability to make PGA
Interesting? Yes. Too bad you're no better than the other clickbait video creators with that thumbnail and title.
Do better.
Like father like son love watching them both❤play your game Charlie you maybe better than your dad🏌️♂️
Little pampered kid
I am sure he is proud of his father who cheated on him and his mother.
Tiger didn't get on roids until he was 19 or 20
You guys need to knock it off! He’s just a kid whether he lives up to his name or doesn’t shouldn’t be what he gets judged on. He’s 15 years old. He doesn’t need that kind of pressure. Let kids be kids plus I’m pretty sure all you people trying to put pressure on. This young man couldn’t play golf at the same level he does. Bottom line knock it off!
He will be no where near his Dad. Because it’s earned not given.
Yep, money doesn't equal talent.
