this is absolutely true and something that i and everybody else needs to remember, namely that as long as we have our health, with all five our senses fully functioning, there is really no reason to ever feel despair. on the contrary, we should have a sense of gratitude every day of our lives

He's not 'so lucky to have got her'. That's an insult to him and all disabled people, like he wouldn't be worthy of her, because he's disabled.
