Hope this video helps you out in this video i show hot to install and replace your speakers and tweeters on your Toyota fj, I try my best to walk you through removing your door panel and then mounting and wiring you new speakers as well as replacing your old tweeters with the new ones and wire the cross overs. I hope this do it yourself tutorial helps you with your install, the speakers we used were made by a company called blam model 690RS and they worked very well.

Did you remove the lip that goes inside the door panel where the speaker cover is ?
