What I really like about this set is that unlike Lego, you're not afraid to mix in studded Technic and even System pieces. I think that is the only way to unleash the full potential of the building blocks.
Great looking truck and good instructions. Had to put a longer axle in the prop shaft because it fell out twice. I also swapped out the noisy engine for a silent 4 cyl lego one.
I just received this set and had a fantastic time building it. You did an excellent job with the construction and the modularity of the assembly. It felt just like putting a Lego Technic set together. It also works great and looks amazing. I look forward to any other sets you design for Cada in the future.
This dump truck is so fantastic! I really really enjoy the realistic propotions of this model and how smooth it operates. I apperciate how filigree the railing of the cabin is in comparison to the thick bars of Lego's 42114. It would be great to produce a comparison video with 42114!

Two things I think will launch CaDa to the next level and make them stand out in a positive way compared to competitors; 1) Use black Technic pins, forget the nasty blue color 2) Use prints instead of stickers If CaDa would implement these improvements, I think the Technic Market will be very happy! Keep the great designs coming please!
Nice work Eric on another highly functional and well designed model! I echo Watsup S's comments + add in that if CaDa can work on improving their part quality (reduce scrape marks, scratches and molding minor cosmetic defects) they would improve their standing in our Technic enthusiast community greatly! That aside I support CaDA as I like it how they are doing models based on their own or licensed IP and that they are bringing sets from MOC designers like you Eric to us for an affordable price!

Ive made lots of these "big" kits and in my humble opinion this is best one I have made, it's superb. It was easy to make and looks fantastic, so good I bought another one to store away.
Hi Eric Thank's for creating Sets like this. It's amazing 👍 After the Farm Tractor and the Telehandler, this was the third Set that I build designed by you and I really enjoyed it. I also made a video about it on my channel with a short test-track to show the functions. While the test-drives I didn't noticed any problems, but today when I brought the ready build Set back to the BricksHouse (I'm building the Sets for their Shop), there was a customer with a tiny Problem. At 1:46 you can see the drive-train on left site. The 2 studs technic axle was loose (like from older Cada-Sets) and the drive-train disconnected always itselfs, because the axle has enough way to move that far. When I checked the Dump Truck that I build for the BricksHouse it looks similar. A 3 studs long technic-axle is too long, so the solution was to cut a 5 studs technic axle into half. With the 2 1/2 studs long technic-axle it works perfect. In that way we could fix to Dump-Trucks with one divided 5 stud long technic-axle, 😁 Maybe this evening during the Live-Stream on Luca's channel brick-a-brac I will show what I mean. I LOVE hearing about rigid structure. So many kits with sagging chassis frames. I pick up the vehicle and I can feel the sag. The chassis frame bends and flexes, and it should not. I hope to hear about more proper design like this. No shifting to deal with either. I'm looking forward to building this.
Great! I can see the model is very solid and has a very good made suspension. Unfortunately it's not Lego and quality of some parts is not as good as it could be.

Była jedna rzecz. To budowa kipra. W zestawie 42114 jest ona całkiem fajnie przemyślana. Na potrzeby mojego modelu musiałem ją jednak zbudować od nowa i zniwelować te wzystkie dziury a finalnie wyszła całkiem nowa konstrukcja 😎
The only downside is it has white cabin and motor...if only full yellow. Apart of that it is trully superb and completely smashes Lego Technic Volvo one.
Nice, But where's the LEGO branding on the box? Because that's Lego bricks and stuff that makes the model up! And we all know how over to the top Lego company is about people using their brand without Lego company involved and their brand on the boxes. If it is a Lego model set why no Lego logos and such on the box? Just being picky I know!

Basically an upgrade to the suspension for off-roading a more elevated frond compared to 42114 and is cheaper, wow! So good

The most important upgrade is suspension, it wouldn’t really matter on models but it matters a lot for rc truck
