I’d say it’s harder to get big as just a streamer. Mainly just because twitches recommended system is terrible. If not non existent. Ya gotta have a mix.
@A7RA3L.Eh, RUclips has pretty interesting algorithm at times. As long as your video is interesting or align with someone else interest it could end up in someone's home page. I got recommended to videos with only 100-200 ish views ever since a month or two ago, they are mostly related to what I've been watching recently, though that makes me wonder did they change how algorithm works now since a year or two ago I never got videos or stream with below 1000 views, but nowadays it's pretty common occurence.
@A7RA3L. I think it's easier to grow on RUclips to be honest you just have to post quality content and follow the trend a little and be consistent . People are reaching 60 to 500 views every day plenty of of small youtube grow relatively quick.. I am discovering small RUclipsrs everyday depending on the topic i search. i have been watching twitch recently and Twitch recommendation is really not good. On Twitch if you get 20- to 50 people watching constantly its actually really good because a lot streamers of cannot reach that. 100- 500 you are probably a small start on Twitch. Also, regarding the raiding concept I dont know if it's really effective.
Streaming is 100% more difficult once you start streaming you realize how entertaining you actually are without post editing I say build an audience on RUclips then bring them to twitch
well youtubers can stream on youtube… 🤯 also, they edit their videos in case they did something they thought was embarrassing. not because they think they aren’t entertaining 💀

Depends entirely on the content. Some youtube channels makes insane contents that requires many hours or days just to produce. Production value in terms of recording a video, for me, is a lot harder than to sit on a stream and entertain your audience live, as you have feedbacks to rely on. They’re both hard. RUclips you have to edit; making thumbnail, come up with the idea and all that crap before dropping the video. Twitch is easy in the sense you just go live but you do it for hours and for most people it’s to 0-3 viewers. I basically streamed on twitch for 7 years for Pennies to the dollar.

Actually both are easy when u are at the top... if you are big u open ur stream any time, do anything, and thousands will watch u, donate, etc... the hardest part on youtube is editing the video itself, but when u are big and make a good income already, u can just hire editors, thumbmakers, etc to make the hard part for u... but I agree that being entertaining for hours on a stream everyday is hard... but if u are xqc for example is easy u can just chill watch videos and play without saying a word If u don't want and millions of dollars will be in ur bank account 😅
Well, its all came down to talent. Some people has talent for making good video, while some people has talent in making impromptu entertainmen, and neither one is straight up harder than the other
the hard part is trying to actually be a good entertaining streamer for hours while there's only 2 people watching (wich is yourself and 1 bot) and making 0 income or progress 😕😕
I really dislike that this is even a conversation and a distraction from young people having traditional career ambitions. I understand why it's a conversation, but for me, the majority of people who are successful Streamers and RUclipsrs are talented enough to win auditions to work in TV or Film. They just choose to Stream or post to RUclips because they make more money that way of course. We have a society of young people who think almost any of them can be successful at streaming or post to RUclips and that is simply not the case.
i need help to become a better yter, plus i only have my phone for doing my whole yt channel and i don’t have any source of income due to being denied from 7 job places
RUclips is easier to gain a following plus it pays well even if you have 50k subs. My buddy make roughly 80k a year with just 50k subs he has merch and small brand deals that reach out to him
Idk man. It is soooo draining being a streamer. Reason being is you don’t grow on twitch without grinding your bum off on every platform to bring in viewers and THEN have to entertain people on live feed and not have any issues with quality, you have to keep talking, you have to have incentives. Nice thing about RUclips is you can make cuts. I love sitting back after streams and making the cuts in stream vods cuz it’s so much easier. RUclips you can also add memes and editing to make your content more interesting whereas your streams are live and entertainment depends on if the streamer is.. entertaining. And for girls if you don’t show your body and use it for views you have to work that much harder cuz ppl who want to want gameplay go to men and the ones there to watch females go to the stripped ones. You have to work hard to find genuine people and build a genuine audience. Oh and if you’re not single you’re screwed cuz everyone wants to date you man or woman. Though I’ve heard it’s not really an issue with guys but idk just trying to be equal about things.
Working class Streamers and RUclipsrs are a thing now .? I think the lamest “creators “ are the ones that need to do the most , they kinda have to just to stay relevant . 💅

the hardest part on youtube is editing the video itself, but when u are big and make a good income already, u can just hire editors, thumbmakers, etc to make the hard part for u... but I agree that being entertaining for hours on a stream everyday is hard... but if u are xqc for example is easy u can just chill watch videos and play without saying a word If u don't want and millions of dollars will be in ur bank account 😅
It’s more equal, twitch’s recommend system is crap but RUclips is unfair and rigged a lot of the times
❤ Couldnt Say It No Better
RUclipsr is pretty simple.
All it really takes is uploading every single day. Thats it.
It's hard to be a streamer because you typically have to compete with cheaters and cornballs
Well, its all came down to talent. Some people has talent for making good video, while some people has talent in making impromptu entertainmen, and neither one is straight up harder than the other
Live streaming good content is much harder than edited videos imo
bohoo such a struggle...such a hard life, i am crying right now 😥
This is true
the hard part is trying to actually be a good entertaining streamer for hours while there's only 2 people watching (wich is yourself and 1 bot) and making 0 income or progress 😕😕
People put more effort into RUclips. There's no reason a similar production value can't cone to streaming, instead it's just a bloke playing games
Will I'm small channel on RUclips but I love to entertainment people
I really dislike that this is even a conversation and a distraction from young people having traditional career ambitions.
Let’s be honest here. Top streamers employ people to do their socials… so it’s not a grind
i was hoping he was gonny cry
i need help to become a better yter, plus i only have my phone for doing my whole yt channel and i don’t have any source of income due to being denied from 7 job places
I wish i can grow my channel so I cab put more effort into it without thinking it's a waste of time 😮💨
It looks like you post for fun so keep doing that. There’s an audience for everything
@@rosaparks8688 I'm trying to but it's not easy I'm trying to do stuff with friends like soul link
Same man
Scarra could survive a car crash
RUclips is easier to gain a following plus it pays well even if you have 50k subs. My buddy make roughly 80k a year with just 50k subs he has merch and small brand deals that reach out to him
Right now the #1 twitch is jinxy hes on fire. 40k plus viewers each time he goes live. ❤❤Lugwid who?
Harder , most of them just watch RUclips video of good content produce by someone hard working then get all of the donation. 🗿🗿
What’s the metric for “good” in this context?
Streaming is way harder is literally live you can’t fuck up and retake the shot 😂
I'll never make it streaming, people hate me too much. Fuck, I hate myself even more.
man you alright?
Nope. Thanks for being human
Ash shucks
Its harder be on twitch for sure
Nah. It's far more difficult to be a streamer.
Definitely not
100% harder to be a youtuber
Small yes medium meh large not really lol
Yes RUclips is better 😮
I just started streaming and idk weither or not I should record videos and post them instead of just doing streams on twitch.
I’m at 1.5k I’m 3 followers away from 1.6k I’ve been streaming since I was 13 I would love to have more free spirited people in my stream
RUclips is 100% harder
yes its hard but i can do it
How do I start?
Working class Streamers and RUclipsrs are a thing now .? I think the lamest “creators “ are the ones that need to do the most , they kinda have to just to stay relevant . 💅
so streaming is harder than being a youtuber and the difficult part is your socials like youtube?
I start streaming last week am at 142 followers it take time
I WILL blow up and take over on twitch. I speak it into existence and believe. God bless all of you 💫🙏😊
I mean you’re a person so you’ll use social media more than likely regardless you you weren’t RUclips famous or streamer imo
yeah...
the biggest gatekeeper ever
❤
