  • U.S. Treasuries will be dumped as global reserves by 2030 as the U.S. dollar will get re-priced from "widely overvalued" levels, Luke Gromen, founder and president of Forest for the Trees (FFTT), tells Michelle Makori, Lead Anchor and Editor-in-Chief at Kitco News. Gromen weighs in on what he sees as the new global reserve asset and what it means for gold and Bitcoin prices.

But it's partly a semantic confusion because yes USD may fall in value versus real assets - gold, bitcoin, commodites, equities, but that doesn't mean the dollar index (USDX/DXY) will fall because it's a measure of the USD versus other fiat (EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, CHF etc)

The US economy is a powerhouse with a diverse range of sectors. The stock market and the dollar have traditionally been safe havens due to their long-term growth and stability. However, potential downturns are part of the economic cycle, and laws are in place to manage defaults and asset seizures. Inflation can be a concern, but remember, certain assets like stocks and Crypto’s acts as a hedge. Long & short-term trading is generally safer, allowing investors to weather market volatility.
