How they open and only do 10 songs on this tour is a mystery to me. They definitely should be the draw. There’s nothing like the war on drugs live right now.
Really only a ten song set? So bummed. I'm seeing them (for the 4th time) in a few weeks and was hoping they'd play longer. I love The National, but come on.
The music industry is crazy man. I’ve been baffled many times at some of the bands that make it and the ones that don’t. Not that these guys are struggling, but in my opinion they’re as good as it gets.
@@UncleRicoOSU the momentum is building for sure. They are similar to the national in that it took a long time for them to get that recognition but it's happening for sure now.
I bought tickets for the Hollywood Bowl on October 7th thinking The War on Drugs was the headliner. I don’t even know who The National is!! I guess it will be an early night for me.
they're an awesome band, but I get it, they're just not as big a draw. I saw them previously in Toronto, headline to 5000 capacity that wasn't full, but with the National, they played last weekend with venue of 16,000, and everyone was in their seats and lawn seating prior to their show as the opener, more than tripling their crowd, and they absolutely LIT the place up... they were awesome.
Accurate except to one detail: they are not the opener. Lucius is the opener. WOD is considered co-headline for Zen Diagram tour. I was at the Toronto outdoor stage as well. If I haven't uploaded clips from that show already, it's only because it's hard to keep with when there are hardly any breaks on this tour.
Soo good 👌🏼 🎸
One of the most talented bands ever heard and even better live
Facts+!

This tour is giving them a massive push, they still arent hugely well known whereas The National would be more recognised. Great exposure for them.
