When I replaced my original filter, I’m having the same problem and it’s not dripping through. It should work much faster. My first filter that cam with the pitcher worked fine. I think it’s the filters.
Yeah I'm doing my first filter now after 25 batches. No drip flow what so ever, (filter was new in a sealed packet), poured the oil into another container to double check I missed a value or tab or something I had to remove, nope all encased. Poured the oil back in in, still no result. Got a safety pin and jabbed it though the star shape on the bottom, oil is slowly coming through now, golden color. When I looked at a official HR video on how to do it, her oil dripped pretty quick, but said if it doesn't drip it means the filter news replacing. Pretty weak if I need to do that first go. I feel like grinding one in half to see what makes it tick, as it needs to breath but seems like the internal material is in a plastic bag or something?
I tried with cold oil and it didn't work. Now trying with warm oil and nothing. Exasperated would be putting it mildly. Note: I live in a warm climate so the room temperature oil is not colder than 70 degrees.
I am having the same issue and looking for an answer.
