A couple suggestions- I think you need to tighten the shoulder buckles on all of the carriers you're wearing with him, he shouldn't be swaying around back there, then it forces you to overcompensate by leaning forward. Tightening those upper straps will bring his upper body closer to your center of gravity. Also, I've read a couple places that lillebaby recommends using the lumbar support through 1 hole for smaller women, instead of through both bands like you would assume. I JUST purchased the lillebaby toddler airflow- and I'm not going to lie, I don't love it. The back is not as tall as the pictures show- I still want my toddler to be covered to the base of the neck...not happening. The straps are real stiff. We purchased our specific for hiking on trails, and I don't think it's comfortable enough to do that for long periods of time. It seems like the neck straps are too far apart , so instead of riding comfortably where a backpack would, the straps are to the outside of my shoulders, i'm really curious how it will fit my husband. Our toddlers are 28 lbs and 40 lbs. I also have very wide hips, and all of these carriers only have padding to the hip bones, so that large strap runs the entire front of my gut. I hate it. (which is why I was considering using the lumbar like you mentioned!!) I think I'll wind up doing a video to review it, possibly before returning it completely. That's way too much money to be dissatisfied. Also- they have 2 way adjusters on the main straps- which they think is great. I see it as 2 or 3 more inches of wasted space, and I cannot tighten them all the way. Sorry for the novel! maybe you learned something from me as I did you! hahahaha
