Thats a funny story,because i started with a 1994 Fender Mexican Standard Strat,and when i was able to buy my first American made Strat,this guitar is the one i got.One of the first 1997 Jimi Hendrix woodstock strats.

I have always reversed my staggered pole strat p.u.'s for the superior response on the first 4 strings that Jimi got.
