Great tips, as always... I just recently started nailing my transitions, and another thing that really helped me was to think about "chasing the kite" through the turn (once I had switched my stance). It really changed the feeling of the turn, and took some of the fear out of steering the kite a little more aggressively to keep me planing. HTH & thanks again!
Another awesome tutorial! A little more detail than your previous video tutorial on how to do transitions...This is definitely the best video channel on RUclips for refreshers in regards to learning how to kitesurf!
The 'three steps' approach makes it very clear. Great video. To loose momentum you can also first steer firmly upwind. To switch your back feet beyond downwind every time a little but further you can step by step go in the direction of a toeside turn and make nice carving turns. Videos on carving turns would also be nice.
great video again guys! I have a suggestion for the next video, also if is a basic argument almost no-one still treated it! All the way to stop moving inside the water for any reason, and a particular condition to focus: how to stop and return to beach when the wind is over the wind range of the kite. ( without the need of make a Safe rescue ) this would be very interesting and useful!
On my list, I plan to cover kitesurfing in extremes - both super light wind, and overpowered. Not every location gets consistent wind so I thought it would be good to cover. Is that what you had in mind? Thanks, Alex.
Kite-Surf-College Tutorials and Tricks , sorry I didn't express myself correctly, I was asking on a video on: How to stop(going) when you are kiting and want get in pause condition (perhaps a boat ahead), because it's not so evident, perhaps getting the kite at zenith position I have read that it's not suggested as stable pause condition, I'm a beginner
You still bring the kite slowly to 12 with the bar out, but it takes longer to stop. If you're over-powered try riding at a slower speed to start with - if you ride around at lower speeds, your board will sink in more and help keep things under control - then it will be much easier to edge and to stop. You don't want a high board speed when you're over-powered.
Kite-Surf-College Tutorials and Tricks yes sure, so there aren't other way (except the emergency one) to stop? I mean perhaps sending slowly the kite in the water when at the edge of the wind window ?
I have done my training, I learned to zig zag in the water and get to the shore without the board. It went so good. I am learning in Turkey, Fethiye, in Calis plaji, Surf Cafe
That's baby beach Aruba. Good spot but small and the police generally kick you out. Haven't been there for a long time so not sure of the current situation.
Thanks for the feedback. Although, I'm not sure what you mean exactly. I guess you have a black box around the subtitles, or was it something else? The subtitles can be turned off in your settings, also I think you can control the colour of the subtitles background etc.

totally true, I remember when I first realised that I'm the one driving the kite and I should just send over and follow it around.

yes, it's the standard way to stop, but if you are at the top end of the wind range of the kite could be still good?
