iI find every episode that you do very informative in every way. i love the way you guys work together. just a question for you. have you ever done a night investigation on the main battle field.
@@paranormalrealitytv I don't know if you guys have heard of him but psychic/medium Craig McManus has three books devoted to Cape May, NJ which are excellent. He delves into the history of each house/establishment along with what he discovers while he's on location. I have all three books and they're easy, fascinating reads. I wanted to finally catch one of his Cape May ghost walks in October this year but they were already sold-out when I checked last month. Oh well...maybe next year.
I just want to say that my husband and I are actually from Cooperstown as well! (More specifically up in Pierstown behind the Busch mansion.) Almost 20 years ago I had the pleasure of meeting JV and Britt at Cooleys before you all filmed at the Otesaga and the BBHOF; and what a cool experience that was to witness. He was the absolute nicest man and we talked about local haunts and also Hyde Hall. I'm excited to see you both investigating together.
I’m so glad you visited Centralia. As a kid, my family owned a cabin in Clinto County PA. We would drive through Centralia to get to the cabin. I remember watching it deteriorate over the years until one day, we couldn’t drive through it anymore. It’s very sad.
I've missed watching GH so badly and wondered if and when it would ever return. So glad that you're still around giving us the same type of content. Never feel pressured to give us only paranormal material. The investigations that don't yield anything just let's us know you're still being real.
I was an avid viewer of the original GH. As the years went by with the different paranormal shows, I was so put off my the fake theatrics and demon stuff. Great job you two! 👏👏👻
Jason, I consider you to be my model of what an investigator should be. I learned by watching you. I love these investigations that are just raw. No network added eerie music or sound effects. People, I've now been doing this for 15 yrs. and this is what it really looks like.
Fantastic work. This is a rational, thoughtful investigation. No stupid spirit boxes, no freakouts, no dust or cobweb orbs, just two professionals doing a ghost hunt. More please!
I love when Gettysburg is checked for paranormal. My 4 time great mother was Belle (Isabelle) Gettys. She was the daughter of William . Her uncles James set up the town. One piece of info is that after the war the government claimed imminent domain over a lot of land. A lot of family moved out of the area because of this situation. That little bit of information is not made wildly public. I’ve seen it mentioned once in an article but the way it’s worded sounds like it was no big deal. Oh when they came to USA their name was Gettis.love you show!
Jason, what I love about your videos, is that there isn't always spirit activity or paranormal occurrences. It shows that you and your team are not hoaxers. Keep up the good work! Stay safe.
Great video. Very entertaining. ;-) Thank you for speaking out about the trash dumping! IT IS NOT OKAY!! I don't understand people - littering streets and highways too. Put trash in it's place folks. The Earth is not your trash dump.
Qestern Marylander here! I love visiting Gettysburg! Also Sharpsburg, Maryland/ Antietam Battlefield . Antietam September 17,1862 was the single bloodiest one day battle of the Civil War. 23,000 causality on a single day! What many people don't know us that 8 women, 7 fought for the UNION.Two as young as 15 years of age. A dead Confederate woman was found on the Cornfield by a Massachusetts Burial party! Burnside Bridge is very haunted ! Bloody Lane and the Cornfield and the West Woods are all very active! Former Democrat Governor William Do b als Schafer made sure that the land around Antietam would be preserved from development.Thank God! Every December ,23,000 luminary bags are placed on the battlefield! To remember the fallen! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I was thinking the same thing - that Sharpsburg is well preserved, while Gettysburg is so commercial. I've been to the Antietam luminary display twice and I highly recommend!
Gettsyburg is one of the best preserved civil war battlefields in my opinion. The battlefield itself is not at all commercial but very well protected and they are constantly making it more authentic via research. Little Round Top just opened up again to visitors after a lengthy restoration and they did an amazing job on it. The town has lots of options for vistors in terms of eating establishments and places to stay. I like Antietam and it is well worth the visit for Civil War buffs, but between the two I think Gettysburg has far more to offer for visitors. Glad both are protected!
@InnocentPotato-pd7wi all of Gettysburg is haunted and alive with paranormal activity. there exists no one place more haunted than another, it's everywhere there. but it's everywhere we who are living dwell too. no place is immune.
My wife and I love Western MD. My parents started camping at the Glen Acres Campground at Deep Creek Lake in '83 or thereabouts. The family sold the campground to developers for a healthy amount of money around 25(?) years ago and now it's an upscale housing community located right next to the lake. It's really nice but it makes me sad when I ride through it because we have so many precious memories of that campground. We haven't been there for 7-8 years but we're hoping to get back there soon. We would always make the trek to Swallow Falls nearby and Blackwater Falls in WV. I could use a breakfast at Penn Alps as well :)
@hondaphan4172 Unfortunately, developers ruin many places! Hope you get a chance to visit Western Maryland again! Penn Alps is a great place to eat! 🥰🤗

Thanks so much for educating me on Centralia. What a sad, sad story. I have no idea why some people think it's ok to dump their trash like that...burns my a$$.

“Jimmy Stewart”. 😆😆😆😆 Oh, my gosh! He would’ve made a great Lincoln! And the break for cinderblock history made me happy. I actually learned something new.

Off the jump, why in tf do ppl have to dump garbage like that? Letting my personal emotions show, but that's ridiculous. And was there a shot of Japanese Knotweed growing on that land? Can't kill that stuff anywhere, obviously. As to your video investigations on RUclips? I love every single one so far. The free form, the jabs at each other, humor, and transparent nature. Really appreciate this more than network TV due to the freedom you have. Thank you both!
I love this RUclips Channel Jason and and JV! It's really great to watch y'all investigating together! Come down to New Orleans and investigate some stuff down here again!
Too bad they discontinued AXN and GHOST HUNTERS in India...... good news is..... you're back with a bang on RUclips.....🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.....huge fan..... respect.....
Jason mentioned being on the square and that there could be outside voices, reminded me of The Whaley House. It's in "Old Town" and there is a restaurant across the street and it's a sidewalk width from a relatively busy street. Good Luck hunting there.
This was a great reminder to me about how I've been wanting to visit Gettysburg. I view that any paranormal evidence as a remarkable link to this sad but remarkable time in history.......one that makes the bridge of history tangible.

My wife and I stayed in the ground level suite(where your investigation started) in March 2023 and we had a nice two-day stay. Nothing paranormal took place that we were aware of but heading down the hallway to the bathroom freaked my wife out if the door to the basement was open. We had no idea the place had a long history of paranormal events but now we know. Gotta get back there soon.
11:34 okay I watched it a bunch and the door on the right that was cracked open already was slowing opening as Jason was going closer, at first I figured it was the camera angel it wasnt. 😮 you can absolutely see it push out so slow!
I enjoyed the investigation and can’t wait for the next one. But what got to me was when @Jason Hawes was flying the drone and the garbage truck was shown in a neighborhood that no longer existed could they be responsible for all the garbage that is being dumped there? If so, that’s extremely upsetting to me that the city is using that area as a dumping site. 😢💔 Anyway, great job, Jason and JV. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
LOL! We are trying...... Loved the history of cinder blocks! I work with engineers so these types of historical information is fasincating! Wow, I don;t know any of the words from the Gettysburg Address, I do know the lords prayer! LOL! So sad fo Centralia, especially the vandalism.
"...and in this episode, JV films Jason's butt, Jason sings a solo from "Annie" , JV sees a "nice pair/pear" Jason learns what "score" means and starts his career as a travelling Preacher and JV channels his inner Lincoln"
I live in Burlington city these days How cool we could of seen you. I'm not allowed out really because of my chronic illnesses, but it would of been worth it for me😊
Great to see a new episode…. Jason or JV, would you consider coming back to the Old Charleston Jail? That was one of the most memorable GH episodes… Thanks for doing what you’re doing!
I always loved visiting Gettysburg. A buddy and I would take a trip there once a year close to Halloween to bar crawl and just hang out around town. Such a cool place.
I came across Centralia when I was doing research involving another ghost town of Times Beach in Missouri. The sad thing about the coal fire beneath Centralia is that it spread to another town nearby and made that one become a ghost town too called Byrnesville.
Hello Jason and JV I love that you’re here on RUclips and doing little investigations! I’ve been a fan for years. I love that you are genuine and trust you above these silly kids who bring disrespect to the paranormal community. I’d like to make a few suggestions as a viewer if I may? When you’re doing investigations, would you be able to sit quietly in a room for a while instead of moving around and standing? There’s a lot of contamination from your footsteps in your episodes and I know you guys would understand that. A good idea at this place would have been, perhaps to sit quietly in the cellar and read the Gettysburg Address, then see if you got any phenomena. Trusted digital recorders would have been an idea too. I’m not criticising, I absolutely adore you guys, I just think sitting quietly, even if you don’t get evidence, would be better from a viewers perspective. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your next episode. 🫶🏻
Absolutely great suggestions. We do some of that, but much of it gets edited out because nothing happens. As I am sure you know, much paranormal investigation is eventless, and that doesn't make great RUclips entertainment. But I hear you, and we will definitely try to include more of that in our future episodes. Thanks for the comments and suggestions! - JV
Not every case yields activity. We look forward to getting back here in the future when it's a slower time.
iI find every episode that you do very informative in every way. i love the way you guys work together. just a question for you. have you ever done a night investigation on the main battle field.
Yeah, as you know, it definitely helps if you can stay for a few days.
Give the guys credit. At least these guys DO NOT fake it. Or see things that are not there .
I learned ALOT watching GH and GHI.
If you claimed otherwise, like some investigators have, it would destroy your credibility, imo. Keeping it real makes your channel worth watching.
Love these investigations without all the “network noise”. Love the simplicity of just 2 investigators. Keep em’ coming 🙂
Thank you. That's what we love too! - JV
Yes! No more silly, “spooky” background music during the investigation.
The atmosphere is completely different. All the drama really was for the network. I wonder what places like Waverly Hills are really like.
I love hearing the history behind the houses.
yes i like that also
We enjoy telling the stories as much as the investigation! - JV

Thank you. It was an unscheduled stop for us but we found it fascinating. - JV
When Jason gives a history before the investigation gives me Rod Serling vibes from the 1960's Twilight Zone 😊
I’ve spent my last 15 New Year’s Eve here. The inn has become my second home! Love it. I’ll be there this Friday!!!!

"...and in this episode, JV films Jason's butt, Jason sings a solo from "Annie" , JV sees a "nice pair/pear" Jason learns what "score" means and starts his career as a travelling Preacher and JV channels his inner Lincoln"
That about sums it up!!! lol - JV
Thanks, Jason and Gus.
I live in Burlington city these days How cool we could of seen you. I'm not allowed out really because of my chronic illnesses, but it would of been worth it for me😊
Awsome video guys i loved it
Love when you all go to Gettysburg❤🎉 We stayed at the Inn years ago⭐️
Great to see a new episode…. Jason or JV, would you consider coming back to the Old Charleston Jail? That was one of the most memorable GH episodes…
Thanks for doing what you’re doing!
I’m so excited about this one!!!
I always loved visiting Gettysburg. A buddy and I would take a trip there once a year close to Halloween to bar crawl and just hang out around town. Such a cool place.
Great video, guys
I came across Centralia when I was doing research involving another ghost town of Times Beach in Missouri. The sad thing about the coal fire beneath Centralia is that it spread to another town nearby and made that one become a ghost town too called Byrnesville.
Hello Jason and JV
I love that you’re here on RUclips and doing little investigations!
- JV
Hello Jason and JV, and Gus.❤❤❤
That noise sounded like a wooden rocking chair on a wood floor.
