I find it crazy how each time I hear some Invent Animate I want to go back to Heavener again. One of the most beautiful chorus in Modern Metalcore and shit they write some.
I'll be forever greatful with you for showing this band back in when Shade Astray came out; they are now one of my favorite things on earth, so thank you Birb !

This track has definitely been the biggest grower of the three, the ending breakdown at first i thought was cool but confusing. but after more listens i just enjoy it more and more. This era of IA has been absolutely incredible and I am so excited to see what they do next
I really enjoyed the old stuff from these guys because I felt like they were the riffier american version of Northlane. I was really into that style at this point, but they evolved in a way that perfectly fits my actual preferences in metalcore. Can't wait to go back to Heavener with that deluxe rendition.
The way Marcus carries some notes weirdly reminds me of Deftones old slower stuff. Chino would kind of do the same thing. Digital Bath comes too mind. Feeling nostalgia on a new song, wild lol.
Pretty Invent Animate is like someone that’s cute and innocent that you wouldn’t expect to like heavy music but actually throws down to like the heaviest stuff imaginable lol

I typically don’t count deluxe versions as entirely new albums, but I guess that’s up to the way you personally see it
I vote yes haha Heavener (Definitive) is my 2024 AOTY, I listen to it a couple times a week still. A masterpiece.
