It’s happened since singing groups were a thing, where music industries back more of the one who “fits” what they are looking for. Jc was the best dancer and vocalist but he has more of a soulful sound and characteristic

That's right, he was the one who carried the group and their most successful album, No Strings Attached gave them a status above all the other boy bands. It meant they were a legitimate musical act and they were able to cross over to R&B more and still hit the charts. JC wrote and was heavily involved in that album.

At least Justin's aware of that and gives JC credit for his amazing voice yet people will still hate on Justin because he's had the most solo success. I personally love all the guys and support them all individually and as a group.

Justin Timberlake's solo career wouldn't be known if he had no any connection with Britney Spears. He just used Britney for spotlight/fame but still he has no any impact in Pop Culture/Music Industry. He is still underrated and he really deserves to be underrated. Taylor Swift and Lady GaGa are even bigger than him. He will never be as big as Britney.

Even as a hardcore Backstreet Boys fan, *NSYNC were amazing dancers and singers. We all know JC was the heart of *NSYNC, Lance, Joey, and Chris were the lungs, and Justin was the face. But there’s something about JC that really should have propelled him to mega stardom. Imagine if him and Justin switched places because we all know that’s how it should have went down. Don’t get me wrong, I love Justin’s music, but he wouldn’t be where he is if management didn’t make him date Britney Spears. Each NSYNC member brings something different to the table and I love that.
justin timberlake is talented but is where he is because of timbalake and pharell his first album that did crazy numbers was produced at the highest level for michael jackson and when he passed on it, pharell brought to justin. Look at who the producer is for every big song he's put out.
If JC had producers like jimmy jam and other big producers and was promoted well he would be on the same level as usher and any other big r&b singer you can think of due to his vocal skills

I recently was thinking about how JC was the best vocalist of Nsync and then remembered he put out an album that I never listened to.
I have no idea why he chose to go in a more pop direction. He needed to honor his voice and go with r&b. If he put out a soul album today I would listen and would see him in concert if I could. He has a beautiful voice with impeccable runs.

Because Justin was just a fly dude. He had the most "swag"(I know it's cheesy but that's the best word I can use to describe JT). He just had that "cool" factor to me that the other guys didn't. Justin always stood out to me even back then. Some people just have an "it" factor. It's not just about talent. Of course JT and JC are both talented and charismatic in their own ways but Justin just had something "extra" to me. Now JC is absolutely the better vocalist and I agree that he is also a great performer and is a good looking guy. I'm upset that Jive didn't handle his career they should have. JC deserved better.

Don’t blame him, he knows more about the dirty shit behind closed doors than most fans realize. Take Justin for example, look at how horrible he has aged now. He’s the baby and youngest in the group, but he is clearly damaged inside and out. Lance and JC (second oldest after Chris) look light years better aging than Justin…even Joey to an extent too.
