Thank you! Just want to mention, you don't have to remove the chamber and open the lid when refilling, you just have to slide the big cap from where the food exits. Hope I have explained properly. Have a good day!

The 4 feeding days or 4 feeding cycles? I have mine set to two feeding cycles (first two boxes), set to do 1 rotation per cycle. This is a per day setting. Box 1 at 9am 1 rotation, box 2 5pm 1 rotation. It's been like that for a year. I just check it during water changes to ensure its not seized from the water evaporation calcium deposits and that it still has food. So in short, once I set it up the one time, it's been going for a year straight.
I have had this for 2 years for my turtle but never used it for more than 3-4 days. If I want it to feed once a day, how many days will it work? I assumed it was only 4 days because there are only 4 boxes.
So if I set the time for 8am 1 rotation and only use the first square. It will continue to feed everyday until I turn it off? I originally thought each box was a day...lol! Apparently I've been using if wrong.

Also I think i sound crazy but can u use the sticky pad to stick it under water or will the chemicals hurt the fish and plants I wouldn’t ever want them to get damaged

Hello thank you for watching. Yes, it definitely starts to get stuck after a while. When you hear it clicking your best bet is to go and rotate it manually just to get it unstuck.

Yes, mine has been continuously feeding daily since I got it. The only issue I noticed, the feeder may get stuck at some point while doing its spin, so you'll need to clean it.
So you have to keep the flap open constantly? Won’t that cause the food inside to get stale? For example I would be using pellets for my turtle so wouldn’t it cause the pellets to get stale exposed to air with the flap always open like that?
It really depends on how much you fill it and how frequently it's used. I usually get at least a month using crushed fish flakes and feeding once a day with a double rotation.

Correct. Every box is a feeding cycle.

4 different schedules
if you use pellets, will it drop too many? or is it just best to stick with flakes
I haven't tried pellets, but I definitely think it will drop too much. Crushed flakes work best from what I've seen.

I don't think it gets stale, if you close it then it defeats the purpose of the auto feeder.

No. It has just a daily setting to feed up to 4x a day.
