I wish we could become an Archon depending on what field we favor the most (Disciple of War, Magick, Land or Hand) and earn the title, plus gain access to the existing variation of Archon tattoos and equip them via either Jandeline (aesthetication) or fashion accessories. 😢
You didn't cover Papalymo's archon field. WoL should definitely be the Archon of Martial Arts, or maybe Archon of Battle Mastery, considering their ability to not just master new jobs but (re)invent (or rediscover from job crystal memories) new abilities in said job, nevermind their primal slaying capability.
@WyrmLimion I can believe the need for some kind of examination or thesis be needed, though I don't know about Sharlayan residency. My reasoning is that Thancred and G'raha are not Sharlayan natives. I will not call myself too knowledgeable on their life and times, but Thancred seems unlikely to have stayed in any one place long enough to apply for residence, let alone somewhere as leery of foreigners as Sharlayan. G'raha might count the former Isle of Val or the Annex as residence in his status of Student of Baldesion, however.
