Bush (#41), after he was out of office, I was stunned when asked about his personal opinion of the 'abortion issue'.....his reply was that he was 'prolife', but he had NEVER openly said that before because he stated that his duty as a elected official was to represent 'his constituents'....not his own personal opinions. Wow!

Actually, this is not a complicated problem, the point is that it only requires recognition of the sovereignty of Palestinian independence from Israel, the problem is over, give independence to Palestine.
You can't give independence to Palestine just like that. Do you really think that would stop attacks on Israel? The issue is very complicated. A two state solution has been proven not to work again and again. The only real way completely out of this would be having one side win for once and for all and hope the region is stable after that. Which it probably wouldn't be.

I get the impression that Arnold is well meaning and incredibly motivated but actually quite naïve to the reality of most people trying to get out of poverty. Not everyone can set up Gym empires, become movie stars or Olympic athletes, that's just so far removed from the reality of the world.
That is not the point. The point is that everybody has the opportunity! and then get rewarded by their work! Of course, some should be more rewarded than others!!! So many factors will play to it - Its call life!! What's utopic and silly is to think that all are the same at any time of their lifes!!! That's it! There is nothing to add to this. The most important - the first thing Arnold do is he calls the crime by its name and condemns it! And the message about the equality of weights for everyone - what a powerful line! Really moving. Every third line this man speaks is worth to be became a remarkable quote for decades!
Wow, he's actually super naïve. Like clearly he worked hard, but also had amazing opportunities arise that the right time. That means he can talk with confidence, but ultimately he is talking in platitudes. It's a shame.
I am a Palestinian, I visited Auschwitz twice, once with my wife, and second time I took my parents to Poland to visit, just couple of months before, and my parents were horrified of how this was taken like a killing industry, and then he asked me a question which I couldn't answer "Should european crimes against Jews justify what is happening to Palestinians?" I wonder what I should answer him, knowing he lost his house, land just like very Palestinian and were displaced by Jewish immigrants from all over the world!! if Chinese, or Russians or Americans were the occupiers? do you think Palestinians would just give up their land to them? trust me they would resist with the same stamina, this isn't a religious war, this occupation which will end when Palestinians have justice, no justice eventually no peace.

I was a bit too hard on Arnold for his BG ties below a previous video. His presence was massive in my childhood, and he's a real star.
I did need to deprogram myself from a sadistic mindset developed by immersing myself in his awesome kills vicariously. It's not OK to derive pleasure from the suffering of others - even a movie character - and he made hurting and killing hilarious.
Still, he's a legendary actor. I shouldn't have been watching those movies at a young age.

I grew up in a broken home and def escaped it by going to free sports activities in the city. It was very helpful for my mental health and pyhsical health. I love NYJTL. I was so good I won awards and went on to play in school.

Schawrzenegger has big strenght in his humility, a valour which many politicians don't have. He calls himself a public server. Many that work for the state don't like that word "server". Because they feel superior. And that is bullshit. I've seen even militaries avoiding and rejecting calling themselves "public servers", like it undervaluates them, but it does not, it shows great strenght and the value of humility, and that is virtuous. Schwarzenegger may not be president due to the laws that forbid it since he wasn't born in america, but he really moves and changes things in the world with his attitude, very admirable.
The objectivity of Mr. Shwazenneggar in the face of the Palestinian and Israeli problem is commendable for a Western statesman, but just like Mr. Gueteras observed 'it did not happen in a vacuum' and the years of Israeli oppression cannot be simply overlooked or wished away.
On the other hand a factor that gives Muslims strength and a growing wisdom in the face of global oppression and subtle injustices within the acceptable norms of Western existence is the knowledge that Almighty Allah is all -Seeing, all- Knowing and Just and Judgment is inevitable to settle the score between the oppressor and the oppressed.
... I mean Almighty Allah is All - knowing.
