I ahve a Vortex, which is the mk.1 version of this design - took it into the Anndes and the Amazon as well as Snowdonnia and all manner of other places. Now 20-ish years old and has to replace the windows (stupid idea in the first place) and re-mennlt all the seam tape but taking it out again tomorrow. This one seems to be missing the snow valances, but is a lot lighter. Still seems a little crazy that a winter tent can't be pitched outer first though.
You CAN pitch the Vortex outer first, it's just really fiddly. Pitch it, hook up all the inner and outer coerners and clips (not to the poles). Leave them connected when you take it down. Now you can lay the whole thing out and put the four cross-poles up inside the outer, then wrangle the support poles in from inside. I expect it would be easier with this one since it doesnn't have sleeves, you could jsut chuck the poles under the fly, duck under it annd assemble them from inside, then hook up the inner
