I think because after Nc7 Qc6 if Nxa8 then e3+ looks pretty crushing. (And the knight on c7 is hanging if you don't play Nxa8.) Very nice video - I also like the presentation with a clear board as well as camera views of the players.
I've been looking at the two Kosteniuk games, and the graphics and the pictures look about right for broadcasting chess on TV for a United States audience. What format to play eludes me. Would 5 min + 5 sec/move be best or 10 min for the game be best?
