The AE1s and the Book 1s have both gone down really well TY. Interestingly Nike were chasing the streets as much as the courts with their design on the Book 1... I wonder if for the AE2 Adidas will move in a similar direction? I think the release of the lows shows they're already trying to cash in on some of the hype!
it's not about anything other than them nailing the styling plus performance which is rare. a lot of performance shoes sacrifice one for the other and they have little casual wear value.
I have purchased three Luka 1’s in the past 2 weeks due to Mavericks having playoff success… and I have been wearing the shoes casually with fits and I got to say, it felt amazing, the shoes looked great and this “trend” would be welcomed in my opinion
Was able to get a couple pairs once they released (blue and clay) and although I'm not enthused with the lows, I plan to pick up a pair as well. No way I'm paying above retail though. I play in the blue pair and rock the clay ones casually. Beautiful shoes.
I'm happy with my Georgia Peach AE1s. Not sure if I'll be leaving them to the court or not.. either way, all this Ant love has been great here in Minnesota. I hope that man can keep it up
I’m from MN and Ant has influenced every hooper at my gym to wear his shoes. I have yet yet to try them out because I already have so many pairs of shoes myself. Maybe I’ll get a pair. We will see. Super dope shoe though.
I had the chance to pick the sail pair at retail in Footlocker when they 1st dropped, but passed cos I don't wear performance shoes casually.. Looks like that bit me in the a$$.. Big regret on my part
I've heard and seen stories that AE1 have had issues with color coming off and scratches that don't come out. But after antman pooping the bed the last few games he's going fall off. Look at interview after the loss.....he act like he didn't care!!! I'd be pissed!!!
