I had never heard of Joey + Rory until she was sick, but boy I love her voice!

As a youngsters I love all of the greatest ,my grandma introduced me to country music when I was 3 i was hooked from that day on and at 20 I'm proud to say I know what real country music sounds like! What Ms. Jean Sheppard said is so true , but as long as I live I'll share they're country music and hope the folks I share it with love it as much as I do! If I have children they'll know who paved the way in country music an I'd like to Thank you all for the great songs each an everyone of you lovely ladies and gentlemen have made for us! 🎶 ❤🎸🎙

Jean Sheppard hit it right on the head when she made her statement about all the older artists (great artists). These younger performers just don't have a clue as to what REAL country music is all about. I'm not one of you all, but I think being 83 yrs. old kind of tells you how much of the older music I have heard. Love watching these sessions. Brings back lots of memories.

the old tunes are still the best...lyrics that told a story or just meant something. Lyrics with feeling ...so unlike some of what we have today.

I grew up on Country music from around 11 years of age when I took up learning the guitar which took me to Traditional Country Music.
As I venture into this coming year to my 77th year on this earth, I still play and sing Traditional Country Music, all inspired by all of these wonderful Country Music stars from way back then.
Such memories, such emotions, tears of joy, tears of sadness at the passing of far too many of these guys who have given me, us and the world their stories of life through their music.
I just loved the chat,the jokes and all round camaraderie from my Country heroes and legends.
I live in the UK, for my 60th birthday my wife took me to Nashville (there is a heaven whilst alive), I was like a kid in a sweet shop, every day was such an amazing time for me, also unknown to me my wife had booked tickets for the Grand Ole Oprey ! This, the place that got me into Country music all those years ago as an 11 year old and boy did I enjoy it😎😎👍👍 what I would have given to have got up on that holy grail stage of Country Music and sang a song!
