They are great looking. I started to make a pair, but mine are mid calf moccasins. You need to get a set of lacing needles. Make it easier on the fingers. Can't wait for your next project.

High noon, have you ever worked with kangaroo lace?? I have found place to purchase, veg tan whole hide. Great leather for different projects. Extremely tough!! Tougher, longer lasting than veg tan cow leather. Been making lace from bulk of the hide. Lot cheaper than buying a roll.. anyways, just wondered if you have used it in your lacing projects??

Another question!! Lol. How hard you think it be, to sew in a strip of veg tan sheepskin, around the whole side and back of moccasin?? Wanting to make a pair for my 77 year old mother, who still gets around great!! Think shed appreciate the look and extra warmth for upcoming winter.
