Thanks for the real world review guys. At around 6:10, you guys were talking about cross shopping and how R8 owners were trading in for a completely different style of car like the RS7. This is something missing from the zillion car review videos out there...the notion that people don't follow the expected cross shopping paradigm. There are some of us that look at a price point and cross shop not only various new car styles (2 dr, 4dr, sports car, etc.) but also new vs used cars. For example, I have an M2 on order but for roughly the same low-mid $60k range, I've considered cars like a '15 M4, '13 Porsche 911 S, '15 Corvette, '14 Audi S7, etc. etc. So reviews like..."Cars to buy @ $30k / $40k / $50k / $60k". Just a thought if you're looking for different ideas.

Completely agree on the looks of RS cars.. Honestly audi's whole lineup looks soooo good right now. One of my favorite parts is the wheels for sure on this rs7

i8 is a lot lot lot quicker than your mum's rsq3 whilst managing mpg that your mums rsq3 couldnt match even cruising down an endless arrow straight road with a 15% decline..with its 1.5l 3 cylinder and the best chassis of any car as its mainly carbon fiber it smokes a lot of cars.... it also looks alot better and is bigger than a q3 :D i agree he shouldnt have gotten the i8 but come onnn the q3 is like just sooo bad when compared :D dont get me wrong q7 is bad ass but q3 come onnnn i dont see a single good point about it.. shouldve gotten a 3.0 diesel q7 for cheaper..or a sq7 used..
In Norway, a fully specced Audi A7 costs the same as the rs7 in merica

norway has socialism...when you just start to read Unemployment benefits makes you wonder why would you even work there..someone must pay it and its try high taxes for ICE cars ..that is why theres tons off electric cars in norway because tax does not include them

One of, if not the, best cars opinion. Terrific looks, thrilling performance, a luxurious and technological interior and good practicality. Best all-around vehicle in my opinion.

This is my dream sedan.... it was the S63 AMG Coupe, but this just is more appealing to me.

As cool as this car is there is still a mountain left on the table. A tune, non-resonated exhaust and upgraded sway bars transforms this car. The gap between that slightly modified RS7 and a stock RS7 is like comparing the RS7 to an A7.
I actually at first used to think this car was around 60 to 70k not 100k plus
100k plus for a luxury sedan that performs like a supercar isn't bad
Exactly, lol, imo those cars have no real use. I would rather buy some comfortable sedan with fucking 2liter for 50k and a gtr for 100k, rather than spending 150k on something large heavy but strong, lol ..
Depends how much extras you add. I think this car is around $100K, already with many options.

- Better ride
- Superior Magneride suspension
- Vastly cheaper
The RS7 is cool on its own, but it doesn't exist in a vacuum. Is there really any reason to spend an extra $40k on the RS7 over the CTS-V when the CTS-V is so superior in so many ways? I can't think of any.
Not really, you have some fair points but if I was in the market and I could pony up the extra change for the RS7, I would choose the RS7. It looks infinitely better (main argument), it accelerates faster (not sure about rolling comparison), it's an Audi, better interior, better sound (subjective), very easy to modify. Can't argue with the value of the V though.
***** Looks are subjective. I think it looks like a clown car. The CTS-V wins acceleration by a large margin. The CTS-V weighs less, has more power and more torque, and hits 127 mph through the traps. This is not up for debate, the CTS-V is faster.
It's an audi, which means it's not going to be reliable and a lot of stuff is going to break on it. Audi does well with interiors, but so does Cadillac now. And the CTS-V has an LT series engine, audi doesn't even have a horse in the "easy to modify" race, by comparison. There were 1200 HP kits out for it months after the engine first showed up in the Z06.
So to be clear, the CTS-V is not just good value for money. It's actually a superior performance car.

Patrick Mason I don't think you understand what the word "value" means. The CLS63 costs $108k before adding a single option so right there you're already $25k more expensive than the CTS-V, and once again the CTS-V absolutely demolishes the CLS63 in terms of performance, both straight line and handing, braking, etc.
So no, the CTS-V is by FAR the better value. And that's a fact, not an opinion. Numbers are a real thing.
The CTS-V is way ahead of all three of the Germans power wise and tech wise. Sad but true.
I got the 2015 GL550, and its a pain in the ass to maintain compared to my Hummer. Can't wait for the 2018 CTS-V after my lease is done.

RS7 is still one of my favorite cars... the A7 in general us beyond sexy, but the RS7 with all that power is just irresistible.

I would take the CLS63 AMG because AMG figured out how to give the nice AMG growl exhaust sound while having turbos. Can't say the same for the M6 despite it's great ride.

The back end of the RS7/A7 is a VERY individual opinion. To me its beautiful.
I've been In many cars like the aventador, gtr, c63 etc and the rs7 felt the most comfortable and luxurious
I disagree with you guys saying the RS7 is the coolest audi. The R8 v10 snaps necks left right and centre when it drives past. The RS7 no where near as much.

Depends on you mean by cool. A 4 door family car with subtle styling that can destroy most cars at a traffic light is cool in my book.
But styling aside, the RS7 can carry the whole family in comfort, go shopping to IKEA, as well as best various supercars in terms of performance at the same time, all while having more luxury than the R8. The V10 is a monster no doubt, but the RS7 is the better car in the real world.
By the time I am at the reasonable age and am ready for the never ending depreciating investment (any car) the rs7 will be the ultimate car. By that time they will upgrade the front dash, upgrade the not so smooth feel, and touch up some minor problems, this will be not only my favourite car but possibly one of the nicest cars to drive imo. Great review! Thumbs up for me.

I have seen this car with tune only, stack up against a 13 GT500 with nearly 800HP, these new RS7s are sexy AF, properly done!
We had one on our stand at FastCarFest with a Milltek exhaust on it. It's a beast. It's exactly like this but only with a large Milltek sticker. They remapped it to 636hp.
That white spec on the steering wheel was killing me. Best looking car out there. Great review!

4600 pounds may be a bit heavier than the other German competition, true, but it's not as heavy as Porker. Try testing that thing without him, it will accelerate like a Bugatti.

It's nice..and it's great that it is all-wheel drive, but honestly i prefer rear-wheel drive in any car. Not saying I don't like it, I mean I would buy it myself, but idk, rear-wheel drive is just much more fun :p
I wish the c7 rs6 had the same power, in my opinion it is the best looking Audi, best looking wagon, and is my personal favorite car by far.

I would totally take the M6 Gran Coupe. No question.
I agree it looks great but in my opinion the 6 Series and especially the M6 of this generation is one of the best looking cars ever to have been made. It's just porn to my eyes. Also, I prefer RWD even if it can't launch as savagely, it can do skids.
RS7 is great for dads who still want to ride like a lad. Wife won't know any better

I drive an E63 M6 coupe and I must say I would 100% choose the RS7 over the M6 gran coupe. I just can't by into the whole "gran coupe M" thing. The M6 should not have 4 doors ever IMO. This car just gets it done better in the super sedan segment.
The dash might be somewhat boring, but I think it has aged rather well.

So sad they don't export the RS6 down there! Here in Europe they're quite as popular as a normal Audi (especially in Germany)... not so sure how many pieces they've sold (but a lot, far more than Mercedes E63 Wagon and BMW M5)! As an Audi enthusiast I can tell you the RS6 looks even better than the RS7!

In Bulgaria we tune those and rs6 and they output more than 730hp with tune and exhaust.
Idk why everyone is saying this isn't available in America. When I lived in Florida my neighbor had had a rs7. It was so beautiful. He had different rims and exhaust than the ones in this video tho. Not sure what the trim it whatevr was or if it was aftermarket parts. But they always had a rhd supra too or somebody they know cuz I only saw it a few times.
The Audi rs7 all around is a nice car, but I just think, personally that the BMW M6 or even the cls63 AMG rides better, especially when you are in the city or even on the highway. But if I was on the track, I would take the rs7 because it has more drama and it is much more aggressive. Thanks for the video.

The Alpina B6 xdrive Gran Coupe is bought through BMW dealerships and is the one to put up against the RS7.
The AMG E63S wagon is the all wheel drive Benz to compare.
These two really need a proper video review, the Audi has received much more press, not faulting the RS7 for that though. A 3 way comparison would be incredible.
Throw in a P90D, and a Panamera Turbo S (though 50 grand more than the others) and you have a real Royal Rumble.
CLS has been updated in 2015. Where have you been? It received new gauges, new Multimedia setup, new steering wheel. Will probably not be changed till 2018 model year now. Maybe even 2019. Get your story straight.

I know this isn't up your alley as much, but would love if you could review the new Jag XE and XF. I have a 14 XF on lease which expires soon, so I'm looking at new options. (Of course, to compare to some of these options as well).
Used to have a RS4 on which i swapped the stock turbos for 2 HUGE turbos, and it made about 600 AWHP and could easily do over 300 Kp/h.
Why did you get rid of it? Was it broken?
It was kinda unreliable, the entirety of the cooling system broke several times (oil cooler, intercooler, ventilator) And after the 3rd Repair i was tired of it, it was really fun to drive and also very pratical though.
Omfgwhothefuckcares Hmm...yes, I know what you mean. These are the things that come with big upgrades. I had an Audi 100 S4 5Zyl. Turbo (don't know if you know this car) and upgraded it to 540hp with bigger turbo, intake and advanced cooling. I went well until the oil and water cooler started leaking and after few KM I've lost boost pressure. Instead of 2bars it only went up to 0,9bars. I've managed to fix it and after 200km or so it all ended on a curvy mountain road with a big bang cuz the turbo was all over the engine and the splatters got sucked into the engine itself.
I've bought an Audi RS2 recently and I'll definately leave it stock and drive thousands of km with it's standard 315HP than "Upgrade it to death". Sry for bad english, I tried to explain as good as I can.
The light car is not always good thing, much better important thing is the balanced-weight in front and back of the car.
My uncle just bought one! They're freaking awesome!
