Amazing to see the passing out parade of the 399 Gurkha recruits on the 14th of November, in Catterick.
Plus, the lovely presence of the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas
and the usual British weather.

Such a wonderful contrast in marching when compared to the FFL. That slow, stiff, Legion pace is boringingly monotony, like their regimental march songs. Yes, the FFL are brave men with battle honours galore, but our Gurkha fighting men would prevail against them 'in country'.
